Positive : 1. student teacher relationship is good. 2.You can get semester Results very fast 3. Education quality os good. 4. Institute located at a pollution free place. Negetive : Not much though. 1. Different offices located in very distances

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is according to UGC instruction. Here double semester system is followed. Means 2 semesters in one year. 3years in B Sc and 2years in M Sc. Beside UGC syllabus there is some extra programming languages are also included

Placement Experience :

As of now there is no placements you have to go for off campusing and interviews after completing your degree. College does not provide any internship, so you have to manage by yourself only.

College Events :

Most of the events are Rabindranath Tagore oriented. Two most populer event in the University celebrated are Dol utsav and Shantiniketan Pous Mela. Most important internal events celebrated are Anandamela which is celebrated in the day of Mahalaya, Gandhi Punnaho, 22se Srabon, Rabindra jayanti and many more

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Its a central govt institute so fees are very less, average 5-7k for 1st year and average 3-5k per year in rest of the years. Fees varies department to department. In the literature departments fees are very less

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No scholarship or loan facility I got from my college but I got MCM scholarship given by State Govt. 2.5k per month in my post graduation days. Rest of the expenditure I managed from my family. You can get MCM Scholarship during Graduation too

Campus Life :

Activities : there are lots of activities you can do. Personally I joined Swimming, Gym. Both the Gym and swimming pool are very much standard. Labs: Computer lab provides one laptop for one person. So for computer science Lab is good Sports: any sports you can play, name any sports you can play here, I personally only played Cricket

Alumni/Alumna :

To be an official alumni you have to pay ?1000, and Senior or ex-students are connected via WhatsApp groups. And Facebook groups. Yeah they are very much helpful to junior students. And juniors helps ex students too for staying in the hostels in emergency

Admission :

I got admittes By counselling process, according to Merit list. And the merit list was generated according to 12th marks of any board. One can have maximum of 3 choices of subject. And in MSc I got admission in internal quota

Faculty :

The faculties are nice and supportive. But not all, be aware of some faculties. But most of faculties are nice. Here HOD of every dept. is changed in every 3years. Specifically if you got admitted in Computer Science be aware of 2 faculties

Course Curriculum Overview:

Since I'm reading the same course in the same college I did my graduation, things are pretty much the same to me except for the syllabus. The faculty-to-student ratio has decreased from 11:28 to 11:20. The course has just begun and the faculty has been the same to us as before. Looking forward to a great 2-year experience.

In our college , raiganj University, was like my second home , the professor was fully cooperative, helping and they guide us on every part except studies also, for our life. The department lab staff was very helpful for us , while conducting experiment , the college office was very helpful , they solve all problems very quickly.
