Remarks :
Well the positive side would be, there's a lot of students from outer city limits and you get to talk to everyone and with little restriction and it's a great platform to improve your communication skills and the negative side would be the staff's, the quality of staff's could be improved like way improvement needed here.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I would say the course is good and adequate for the current trends and the latest technology going around the world. The course also goes through a lot of practical stuff and it also helped me getting an admission abroad. So according to me the course is good and could be better if updated faster.
Placement Experience :
They do not provide internships but they do arrange job fairs and placement opportunities from companies. They are not the best and they really don't have a very good placement record compared to others colleges.
College Events :
This part I like in this college. They celebrate every event possible. There's a lot of things for freshers and a vast variety of events. Even Onam is celebrated in a very huge manner. They also bring in chief guest celebrities. You'll have a great time as this one is considered.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It's on the higher side now. The first year fee for me was 1,75,000 and the next three years were 1,50,000 respectively. Also you'll be asked to pay a lot of things like bus fees, attendance fines if less than 75% , Exam fees, Book fees and fines, Green Campus fee, ID card issuing fee, Event fees and ect. Over the span of 4 years you'll end up paying a lot. Not only this the cost has also increased a lot this year.
Fees and Financial Aid :
So basically the college provides scholarship based on the marks you scored on your 10th 12th and the entrance exam. Based on that they give Various discount. I've seen students paying as minimum as 5000 for yearly fees based on cast and also 80000 as fees for merit scholarship. Sports quota students get almost full fee waiver.
Campus Life :
They have a lot of extra curricular activities here like football, basketball, badminton, table tennis, tennis, horse riding, NCC, Dance, and a lot more. They also have a lot of clubs that you can participate. You can also avail any sports facility you want and make use of it.
Alumni/Alumna :
Basically they contact you for a meeting every year called the alumni meeting. People and Alumni come here to discuss their success and motivate people. It's not the best meet you could go for but it's at the least a try. Hopefully they improve this in the future
Admission :
I was asked to apply through an online portal online on the college website (www.hindustanuniv.ac.in) and then pay the registration fee online. Once that is done they'll call the person and ask you to meet them to have a chat with them and discuss details about the course and it's start day and exam dates etc.
Faculty :
We'll it's hard to say. Since it's a deemed college, the staff's here have a lot of authority over your marks personally. They are friendly at times but I personally didn't have a great time with these people here. They'd be rude and interpretative on our lives. They could rather deal their own issues and help guiding students instead of putting them into depression for personal vengeance. This could be prevented here.
