Remarks :

In short our college is best in west bengal for Textile technology and APM so feeling very lucky about the fact that I m student of the of great legacy, the only negative thing of this this cllge is the campus size which is not big

Course Curriculum Overview :

There are 4 courses in the college for b.tech and 2 for mtech, in Btech there are CSE, IT, TT, Apm and two courses of mtech is in Textile Technology, it is under the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology so the semistar exams are conducted by the makut

Placement Experience :

The placement of Textile and APM branch is simply very good, the best companies of india in Textile industry come to our campus for placements, there is almost 100% placement in TT and APM branch, like the other makut colleges the pool campusing is held for cse and it.

College Events :

There are lots of event celebrated for our college which is organised by our very own student Union, the freshers welcome is firstly organised and then the teachers day,biswakarma Puja and many others events but the most awaited function comes in January, yes the tech fest and the cultural fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fees structure is very feasible. Monthly fees of TT is 500, Cse and APM is 1000 and IT is 2000, there are some others expanses in the time of admission like sports fee, students union fee which is totally ran by the college authority, no political influence is there

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college fees is very feasible so I don't think anyone should have to take loan, there are lots of scholarship for reserved category students but if u are a general candidate then it will be tough for u to get a scholarship, there is vivekananda scholarship for general students.

Campus Life :

There are lots of opportunity provided by the college in terms of sports, almost every outdoor games are played here, every year college tournament is held in various sports, there are good infrastructure in terms of labs.

Hostel Facilities :

There is hostel facility only available for boys, the fees of hostel is also very limited and also the culture of hostel is also very good. Rooms are large in structure and there are lots of other facilities

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of our college is very strong, the seniors are very helpful, they always help each and every one, it's alumni network is very strong and being established in 1908 it is very strong

Admission :

Gave the wbjee entrance exam, got a decent rank and through e-counselling got the college, the wbjee exam is basically contains of 3 subjects maths,physics and chemistry, the 50%of the weightage is covered by the maths portion and the physics chemistry is also 50% weightage

Faculty :

There are one of the best faculties for Textile technology in India, they are simply the best, very supportive and one can learn the best of textile technology from them, they are very down to earth and supportive, the department of cse and IT has also has decent faculties
