Likes
- I like the campus mornings where i can see the rising sun early morning and i really love the chirpings of bird early morning. it gives a sense of refreshment for a new day
- i like when i am busy with the various events and research opportunities i have.
Dislikes
- there's not really anything that i dislike. some things could be disturbing but doesnt make it dislike.
- i sometimes dislike hostel food because it becomes monotonous sometimes.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is upto the mark. practical knowledge is provided by the teachers and books for referals are also suggested. teachers also do provide detailed notes of the subjects that they are teaching.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are also great here. Faculties help you avail the internships with good stipends. They also take you for field visits and indusrial visits which are really helpful for exposure. The earth saviours foundation is one of the one main places.
Placement Experience
The college placement is also good. DPS is one of the top recruiters in psychology. There are many others clinics and ngos that do provide placement opportunities to students here. Average package ranges from 2-4lpa.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am currently pursuing 1-yr Masters at the university. I paid 91000 for my first sem including security refund. For the next sem, i will have to pay 75000. There isn't any extra fees. Scholarship is provided accordingly.
Campus Life
Campus life is very exciting at Amity. There are various clubs like ngo clubs, korean club, japan club, literary club etc. All of them hold their own events and an annual fest is also held. sports fest is held separately.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is really good. There are 2 seater rooms, Ac/non-ac. there is a dedicated tv room, game room, dance room. vending machine is also installed the hostel for hot tea/coffee and other snacks.
Admission
The admission process at my college was really simple. I was selected on the basis of my previous marks as I am a gold medalist. I prefer this college cuz by now im very familiar with the environment and it has really good opportunities
Faculty
Faculties all come from reputed backgrounds and are really helping. They all teach very well and are ready to clear doubts always. Exams are all upto the standards and marking system isn't too tough. We have 2 mid sems each sem and then a final sem.
Night Life
Nightlife at campus is really good. There are small parks in the campus where you can sit, you can hit the gym. There are many cafeterias you can try. Library is also open until 7pm. We all however need to be inside the hostel by 9:30pm.
