Remarks :

College is very good. The surroundings are good. Natural surroundings are good. The college is surrounded with 120 acres. It has a wonderful ground. The college is surrounded with an eco friendly atmosphere.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good but it needs some changes in favor for the students. During the four years of course there are totally four semesters. In each semesters the university conduct six theory exams and practical exams.

Placement Experience :

Our college provides almost 90 percent placement for the students. Over 30 multi national companies will come to our college every year. There is a placement cell in our college. They provide placement training for the students.

College Events :

Freshers day Fresher's day is the event which is conducted for the 1st year students. In that event there will be cultural activities of the 1st year students. Noopuram It is a college level arts fest and competition between each departments. College day Dyuksha It is a tech fest.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For the students who got admission in merit it will be ok fir them. For the students who got admission in management seat they will charge some amount of money in each semesters. Each student must pay exam fees in each semesters.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The government provide e-grants for the students for the four years. Rather than e-grants there are s o many other scholarship schemes provided by the college and government for the students. It is good for the students.

Campus Life :

There are so many extracurricular activities in our college. Lab sessions are arranged by the faculties in each semesters. It will helps the students with more practical knowledge and skills. There are so many activities like sports are conducted.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are good. The hostel was built on 1960's.so the infrastructure is old. They provide good food and good accommodation. We have three men's hostel and two ladies hostel. There is ground for the students in front of the hostel.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network and the senior students are very helpful. They will provide all the facilities for the students. Senior students are very supportive alumnies give many funds for the college renumeration works.

Admission :

Admission is done by entrance rank list. I got admission in the second allotment. There are total four phases of allotments. After the allotment procedure each student must take admission in the respected colleges where they got admission.

Faculty :

Faculty of my college is good. They are well experienced. Most of the faculties are graduated from IIT'S and most of them have Doctorate. Lab facilities are also good they are very much supportive in academics.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
