The Vision of Sri Venkateswara University College of Engineering is to be the leader in the creation and development of globally competitive human capital in Engineering Education for Technological, Economical and Social Enrichment of the Society, through its open and flexible Academic Programs.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Total duration for b.tech is four years with 8 semester exams. Every year has 2 sem exams u have to pass in all subjects For internal exam u have to get 16 out of 40 marks in external exam u have to score 24 out of 60 marks total pass marks is 40 out of 100.

Placement Experience :

In my college they dont provide u internships except mech branch for internship v have to go and search. Coming to placements lot of companies come to our college and recruite companies like divis,fertilizer etc.

College Events :

Talents day ,rhapsody,chemosphere,cynosure,mech fest ,cse fest,ece fest etc, talents day for welcoming freshers and rhapsody for seniors. Every branch chelebrates national level technical fest every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

For b.tech regular students they have to pay only hostel fee. For dual degree students they have to 1.25 lakhs for college and hostel fee is separate for them. It is fesible for regular students. Every hostel fee is 28k.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

For sc st and backward catagaries college offer scholarship to students.Loan facility is not availed in our college.college fees is max up to 25k for b.tech regular students this will pay by scholarship

Campus Life :

Labs are too good for civil students. For chemical engineers labs are good the euipments are not good they show error in readings, For ece students they have good lab for mech they have lab for eee they also have labs.

Alumni/Alumna :

It is a well-known fact that one needs their seniors in college. This is something that we’re all well aware of even before we enter the campus life. In such an alien environment, it is good to have a voice of experience to consult to deal with changes and subjects

Through eamcet exam if yoy got ranks below 15k for obc candidates for sc st candidates 45k For civil general-5k rank, For sc st-15k, For cse-gen-5k rank, For sc st-10k, For mech gen-7k, For sc st-10k, For ece ,eee- gen-10k, For sc st-20k, For chemical -gen 5k, For sc st 45k,

Faculty :

For civil enginerring more professors are there, they have good facilities and they good laborataries for chemical engineering only one professor and two assistant professors are there, For cse they have good staff they have good labs for ece and eee they also have good staff

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
