What Students Say

Likes

I liked the infrastructure. It was great compared to many other colleges
The exposure I got in this university. As the students come from different places, I was able to gain knowledge about different cultures
All the faculties are well qualified. Almost all the faculties are PhD holders

Dislikes

Always the college will be under construction, which is irritating
There are no required facilities in classrooms like AC and other things
The college is very big, but we can't explore it due to high restrictions

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is very well organized. It contains the theory and lab components such that the student can gain knowledge in both and get practical experience. The improvement I suggest is the professors should concentrate more on explaining instead of reading PPTs

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I joined VIT AP in category 1. So, my fee is 195000. The fee changes according to the category. Category depends on the rank they got in VITEEE exam. I aslo paid 15000 as caution deposit. There are no scholarships, but there is a scheme called star batch for whom the education is free.

Campus Life

We have 2 fests every year. One is VTAPP, which is technical fest and VTOPIA, which is cultural fest. The importance for sports and other extracurricular activities is also good in our campus. I actively participted in NSS club of our campus

Admission

I wrote the EAPCET and VITEEE. I secured a good rank in EAPCET and got a seat in good college, but I opted VIT. Because, I gave preference to exposure to different kinds of people. So, I joined VIT AP University.

Faculty

The course registration in our college is FCFS. It is student friendly, as the students can choose their faculty and time slot for the course. The faculty student relation is very good and the students can gain lot of things by interacting with them

Night Life

The gym in our college have very good equipment. Library environment is also good. Students can roam in the campus upto 8:30 pm. Then, the hostel students should go back to their hostel. There are very less places for hangout in campus, only cafeteria.

management is giving equal opportunities to everyone . What I felt is they should concentrate on toppers.
college management won't allow students to go out side of the campus without permission

I got civil engineering in my college. As our country is in developing mode the role of civil engineers is going to be crucial. The interdisplinary subjects prepare us for the challenges faced other than civil engineering.each month we have a exam to be specific 2 minors 1 mid term and 1 end term examination.the difficulty level is somewhat moderate. If we thoroughly go through teachers's notes and practice a few problems it is going to be very helpful
