Remarks :

The only negative remarks is that the college is situated 22 Km away from the trivandrum city. All others are very good teachers of this college has good helping mentality. The facilities like hostel, Canteen, Physical education department is very good one.

Course Curriculum Overview :

my course is electrical and electronics under ktu curriculum ise good. Exam is conducted by semester wise during the peroid of 5 months. Those results have to be published with in 2 weaks and supplementary conducted during the end of year.

Placement Experience :

During this year almost all students without backpapers got placement. Most of them got placements at off campus. Companies like UST, Infosys, Quist global, Philips etc. College did not conducted any type of interships its all about done by the students itself.

College Events :

The college conduts freshers day at hostel and in campus at every starting year since its the first event. Then Onam celebration is conducted and after that the main event named EQUINOX is conducted students of other colleges can also participate in this event. Sports and arts also conducted.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

No aditional fees has been collected as per government rules the fees structure is builded. Aditional expenses like canteen, cafeteria is also very feasible. There is some kind of fine is charges if any one disobeys the college rules.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The students who got good marks in semester exams will give scholarship by the college management. If any students are facing with any problems of paying feeses college will help their maximun in any way.

Campus Life :

There are lots of extra curricular activities like sports, arts, etc. There are seperate labs for all branches and with improoved infra structure. Teachers and non teaching staffs help their maximum to improove our abilities.

Alumni/Alumna :

Every ending year each and every student is paying 1000 rupees for their alumini membership. During every college events aluminis can come by registering through online. aluminis can get information trough SMS

Admission :

during the year of 2015 june i got admission in the college. I first prefer mechanical engineering but during the admission type i select electrical and electronics. an un expected guest to my home suggested this college and i am very interested to join in this college

Faculty :

Campus is very ecofrendly campus. Seperate hostel for boys and girls are available with in the campus with good infrastructure. Canteen food is also very good. Seperate playgrounds for football, cricket, volleyball and badminton is here.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
