Remarks :

No. There is no such negative remaks to say. Only the lab facility lack it's standard. Not in every departments. In some departments I think it will be more good if they improve that. Otherwise it's overall a nice college to choose.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course is of 8 semesters.Curriculam gives more importance to theory than practicals. I am studying in Kerala technological university. Exam structure is very convenient.2 internal exams and a university exam is conducted in each semester.

Placement Experience :

Placement activities are done in our college. It's coordinated by the placement cell. Job opportunities for students are improving each year.Internship were also provided in the college itself. And it was so helpful and informative.

College Events :

We conduct college art fest and technical fest every year.students all over India can participate in the fests.And other than this many cultural events are conducting in the college under the supervision of various clubs and cells.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible.meritorious students are awarded with cash prize.And students from low financial backgrounds can avail scholarships too.Fee structure cries according to the type of admission too.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I have mentioned it above.brilliant students are awarded with cash prize.And students from low financial backgrounds can avail scholarships too.Fee structure cries according to the type of admission too.

Campus Life :

In my opinion Labs can be improved.Sports activities are good. For boys many opportunities are there to get on with sports. But for girls it's still in a developing state.But can't say there is any.

Hostel Facilities :

I am residing at the hostel as the college is far away from my home.Host facilities are ok. There 3 sharing and 2 Sharing rooms.Basic needs are fulfilled by the management.Food is ok.Phone is allowed only 1 hr a day.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes. Senior students are helpful.we have alumni association here. They do much good activities together.And many students who passed out from this college are now working with MNCs and they visit the college to provide their experiences to the juniors.

Admission :

I got admission in the college through KEAM entrance exam.Thts done through government allotment.I was admitted to the course B.tech in specification of electronics and communication engineering. I joined the college on August 2016.

Faculty :

Faculty is very supportive and cooperative. Each faculty is very much passionate about their job.they are giving their best to produce maximum output from each student.They are not very strict and not too cool.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
