Remarks :

I so far had good vibe from college. But some incidents are there in which the tech fest got cancelled due to fight between branches. In some events fights have ended in suspensions and police cases apart from that college is good

Course Curriculum Overview :

I have a satisfactory opinion about my course curriculum and exam structure,but the KTU has rebuilded the enitre system which is going to be amended on coming academic year,so after the first batch of new syllabus we can get a clear picture

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities are provided by the college last academic year around 30-40 students got campus placement,most of the job offers were from it companies. College doesn't provides direct internships but gives full cooperation for internships and there are students who gets stipend for internships.

College Events :

Many events are celebrated in our college,events like holi,onam etc are very well celebrated. Students are allowed to wear casual dresses and college management provides good cooperation for the events. Eventhough it is good but comparing to private college's celebrations I think we have less beauty

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is of 3 types Merit list Management quota NRI seat The NRI seat is quite expensive and limited. Management quota costs around 80k while merit list costs 40k these figures are for year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Many scholarships are provided for the students,they are based on gender,caste ,religion etc many students get the help from these support provided by governments and organisations. College also provides scholarship for exemplary students who performed well in exams

Campus Life :

College provides good cooperation for extra curricular activities. Labs have good equipments and staffs but infrastructure of some labs are poor but they are about to get cleared. There is a college team for sports like football, cricket, volleyball etc who performs good in intercollege events

Hostel Facilities :

Infrastructure of hostel is good and the atmosphere of hostels are like family but the food provided is not much good. Apart from that hostel is good. Separate hostels are provided for both men and ladies

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Alumni/Alumna :

Alumni network of college is good based on my experience,I don't have clear picture of this because I'm still studying in the college. Senior students were good and had good company with juniors. All the students cooperated well in events like tech fest,arts etc

Admission :

I appeared in the KEAM exam and based on ranks got in the exam the call for admission was started,so I arranged my interested college list and waited for allotment and I got admitted in the respective college

Faculty :

I have good opinion about the faculty of college,they are always ready to help and pleasant minded. Even though some of the faculties are freshers in their respective job because they are just pass-out of Mtech course

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
