4.8 /5

Remarks :

The Institute is a haven for minds who like to think and provides the perfect impetus to all designers/innovators/leaders this Campus boasts of.

Course Curriculum Overview :

This course was founded at NID The founder of this course coordinates it at NID. The methods are meant to leave one spell bound.

Internships Opportunities :

A student of this discipline can intern in any field he/she likes. There is no limitation on the lack of Strategic Designers.

Placement Experience :

TCS, Accenture, NGO's, Snapdeal, Samsung the list of opportunities is endless.

College Events :

Design college festivals as well as Fest openings from IIM-A and other reputed colleges are a regular feature.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Bank of India offers loans.

Campus Life :

Gender ratio is a balanced one. The campus is one of the best campuses. The right amount of secluded and serene blended into a college always buzzing with activities and opportunities. The freedom of expression and liberty is unparalleled.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels are one of the better hostels of Indian Goverment Colleges. Twin sharing Non-A/C rooms. Mess food is too good to be called.

Alumni/Alumna :

Excellent culture, Strong Alumni, The concept of seniors and juniors is non existant. It is a family. Just the name NID would be enough to put you back on your feet anytime.

Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The placements procedure has not yet started. 6 lakh is the highest package and 4.5 lakh is the average package. Mostly the profiles offered are marketing only. 10-15% of students are getting placements. My future plans after getting the degree are to get exposed to the corporate world.

Placement Experience:

The placements are the best across India. It is only one of the 5 to get audited and officially published. There are two placement procedures that a student goes through. The summer internship is mandatory as per the course, which is supposed to happen between the two years. The placement of the same happens around Nov-Dec in 3 clusters, which is decided as per the batch. Then the Final Placement happens in Second Year, around Feb in a similar fashion. A detailed report of the number of companies and package is available on the website.

Admission:

Admissions are granted on the basis of merit in the CMAT exam. My CMAT score was pretty decent, but still, I have to wait for the second round of counselings. After that, I appeared for the interview round and Group discussion, which was pretty easy for me as I was practicing for the interview round and giving mock interviews.

Placement Experience:

Placements were okayish. Our institute had corporate tie ups with many reputable companies, which they used to invite for the campus placements. Packages offered were also good. the highest package went as high as 12 LPA, while the average package offered was of 4 LPA.
