Remarks :

Positive remarks of the college is, no extra fees are collecting from the students unnecessarily. Notes for the subjects are good compared to other colleges. Negative remarks for the college is, as told above the extracurricular activities are very poor in college. Only concentrated in the academic things.

Course Curriculum Overview :

There will be 3 exams in each semester 2 series tests and a model exam and also need to submit 4 assignments, in this 3 exams if we get passed we will also get pass mark in the internal otherwise we will be having internal under. Course curriculum is followed as per the syllabus of University of Calicut Kerala. And the faculties will give us notes of full topics.

Placement Experience :

The placement options in the college is poor in the college when we were studying there. After that it heard that some companies comes to the college for placement. Mainly from 2018 - 2019 academic year.

College Events :

The events that held in the college are Onam celebration, arts day sports day and the department day the events happening in the college is very less in the number, and in our final academic year 2017 - 2018 we have organised a technical fest in our college for the first time in the history of our college.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

It depends on the the students but comparing to some colleges the fee is feasible. No extra fees are there. The total fee structure will be giving at the time of admission itself and only the college bus fee will get increased yearly.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I didn't get any scholarships from the college, but friends were getting some kind of scholarships and bank loan. The bank loan process in the college is very helpful to the students and the paper work for the bank loan from the side of college will get finished fast and was a helpful one.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities was less In the college and the sports was little active in the college the labs in the college was good and can't say they it is an extra ordinary one. But most of the equipment was able to use for experiments.

Alumni/Alumna :

The alumni network of the college is poor. Only 2 or 3 alumni meets are held in the college. The senior students are helpful for some kind of things. And most of them will not be available because of their busy in the life.

Admission :

My parents approached the college for admission in mechanical engineering streaming. They asked the plus two and SSLC mark list when shown they agreed to give the admission and paid security deposit of an amount 10000 which will get back after 4 yaers.

Faculty :

Good and friendly. They very much helpful for the students. They will help the students for scoring good marks in the exams and also helps in presenting the seminars and final year project etc. They treat the students well in their studies.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
