Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum is simple, for basic subjects, it is followed on the basis of the syllabus by university but there are programs for hackathons and developmental programs every month. The curriculum does not prepare for real world application in any sense and you will need to look into that on your own. The curriculum is however imporving because they introduced, three teachers separately for training about different languages and coding applications.

Placement Experience

4

Students can sit at the placement rounds from 6th sem onwards, prior to this year, a little companies showed up, with lesser package, but this year, this has gone up and will go up in the future. Several companies like Astro Talk, VideoHive and Tata, Infosys came and about 35 offers were placed from these. The highest package was for UI/UX designer of 22lpa and average was 12-15lpa having roles of full stack and machine learning based students. about 45 % Students got placed on campus. I will probably be starting my own firm after I get a degree.

Fees and Financial Aid

For the first year, the course fee is 156k, which is subject to change based on the notice from ipu. For the second year and onwards, the fee is 135k or so. Tuition fee for the first year is 135k and additional 20k for security deposit, At the time of admission, they charge 500 for maintaining a file for your documents and dress is mandatory. Additionally, they will ask for courses worth 8k and 12k for visiting firms, which generally never happens. The fee is same for every branch in B. tech (AIML, AIDS, CST).

Campus Life

3

The overall campus experience is decent, Morning classes from 9.30 to 12.50 and afternon classes from 1.30 to 4.30, classes being 1 hr each. There is a DJ night at the time of diwali and a freshers in the start of even sem. The library has all the books mentioned in syllabus and additional for research and data engineering. Classrooms have ACs, and Smart boards in them.

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostels are no longer available in non AC, all rooms are now AC, so, there will be an AC, two fans, and two light bulbs(1 tubelight). The hostel mess provides different food for every day in a week for 4 times a day, the food is good apart of the excess oil. Registration for hostels are done at the time of admission, otherwise, it is not possible to get a room in the hsotel. It is somewhat expensive (135K).

Admission

Honestly, I was not getting any other good colleges and if I was getting them then not good enough branch and my friend was also getting the same branch in this college, so, I opted for it. I did not get any rejections, but the results were simply not enough. Admission process is simple, you can directly book and meet at the reception or go by ipu counselling, in both, the fee is same and no priority is given to any student

Faculty

4

Every faculty maintains about 60 students. There are class co-ordinators responsible for student well being. Sarita mam(Maths prof) is seemingly a nice teacher and I scored highest in college in first sem. Faculty I hated was of Manufacturing process and it was because of the subject mostly. There are class tests held every month, followed by mid sem exams, and then another class test and finally sem exams.

Night Life

5

The campus is strict in terms of this, the freshers are not allowed to go out of the campus after 8:00 pm and the seniors after 10:00 pm. In the campus, Boys can walk across the campus till 10 and girls till 9:30, however it is provide to go to the classroom buildings and worksop building. Gym is open at 5:30 in the morning to 8.30 in the morning and 4.30 to 7.30 in the evening. Same with Canteen, from 9.30 to 9.00 in the evening. Canteens are open till 10 pm during exams. My favorite hangout place is open gym in the garden where we play and talk after having dinner.

Placement Experience:

The placement program is quiet good. Companies are recruitng on campus at the end of every course and give offers from around 3lakh to 30lakh anually. Around 60% of sudents get hired by companies on campus. After degree I will look for a offer of around 8lakh anually or I will apply to companies after the compeletion fo the course

The placements of MAIT are decent as compared to market conditions. But the data shown on website or availble at various platforms is not the reality. The mass chunk of students who get a job are placed under and around 6LPA package.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As it is a government college, the infrastructure is quite nice. The auditorium in FET (Faculty of Engineering and Technology) is very nice. The library is also good, and thousands of books are available in the central library and engineering library. The canteen is also good, and the food served in it is also very less expensive. Our college is very good at sports and games and has a very good sports complex.
