Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is very vast , it includes practical and theory, the course help the students to learn every basic of Media industry along with practical knowledge and skills with the use of machines used in Media. The only problem is lack of exposure for the students on ground
Internships Opportunities
It provides internship opportunity in the local media houses available in indore and it also give the opportunity to work with NGO and social organisation for the students who are interested in working. All the teachers are very supportive to make a internship available for you.
Fees and Financial Aid
When I joined School of Journalism and Mass Communication, Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya, Indore, the fees was around 41 thousand per year. The university provides all the benefits of the scholarship launched by the state or central government of you are eligible for that.
Campus Life
In terms of events the college is very rich, from cultural festivals to morden fests everything is there , it also host alumni meets, conferences with delegates and the college have also the collaboration with organisations like UNESCO. Callge has not very big library but university have a very big and rich library. Some classroom have morden electronic screens and the college have practical classes with equipments like cameras, sound and light systems etc. In terms of sports it I not that much active.
Admission
This is well reputed college and under the UTD campus of a biggest university of the central India. It is a government collage and the fees is low in comparison to other private colleges. It is easy to take addmission in this, you just have to applied for the cuet ug exam conducted by NTA and fill the councelling form of DAVV university.
Faculty
The faculty or students ratio is around 1 teacher on 40 students. Teachers are supportive and they are easily approachable. All the faculty have good knowledge and well experienced teachers are available. There are two semesters every year, exam pattern are internal exams and then final exam
Night Life
In terms of greenery the collage is very rich, but facilities like gym and sports are not available, there is Indian Coffee House in the campus. There are hostels available in the university but little far from the collage. The locality is very safe for all girls and boys.
