Remarks :

My college is Awesome and I love it. These are going to be the best 4 years of my life. Campus management is good. Everything is nicely managed. Separate committees are there for different things (eg. Mess Committee)

Entrance Preview :

JEE MAINS : 83 VITEEE : AIR 7360 SET : 134/200I opted for this college because my parents wanted to. I had only two options VIT or Symbiosis. So my parents told me to go for Symbiosis

Course Curriculum Overview :

Course Curriculum is fine.Currently I am in third semester (Computer Science)And I have 6 subjects Discrete Structures, Fundamentals of Data Structures, Computer Organization, Digital Electronics and Logic, Programming Paradigms, German And in the next semester I will be having Java and Microprocessors etc.

Internships Opportunities :

I am not yet eligible for Internship. But yes, my friend told me that Symantec came. Selection is mostly based on projects and interview. In the 5th semester we will be given some project and there will be written test and interviews based on what we will be selected or rejected

Placement Experience :

Placement is around 85%.Computer Science has maximum placement.Companies that came were Symantec, IBM, AMAZON, Book My Show, Infosys, Amdocs, NVIDIA etc. Highest package was around 20 lakhs. Book My Show offered around 5 lakhs. NVIDIA offered around 7 lakhs.

College Events :

COM-IT is the technical event of Computer Science and IT department. MESA is the technical event of Mechanical Department. IEEE is the technical event of Electronics Department.REVERB is the cultural event celebrated in the month of February. Their is not participation in these events but these are really enjoyable and I get to learn a lot from the events.Around 50-60% is the participation. And we celebrate all the festivals here.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Feasible, It is around 2.5-3 lakhs per annum including the academic as well as hostel fee. And the hostels of my college are far better than other colleges. So the fee charged is fine.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My college give 100% off on academic fee to Board toppers, Jee topper who took admission and SET (Symbiosis Entrance Test) topper who took admission.

Campus Life :

Campus is really nice. Specially the location. It is located on hills so the.weather is nice. As it is an engineering college gender ratio is 1:4 means 75% are male. We do celebrate birthdays here. We get many workshop opportunities like Robotics etc. We have people from all states of India here and there are some foreigners too. We all live together and there is no gender discrimination. The economic status is good. All are from reputed families.

Hostel Facilities :

Mess Food is 6/10. But the hostels are really nice. They are clean and hygienic. There are 3 students in one room. And sweepers come daily and clean the room. Each room has separate washroom and bathroom.

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. The campus is ragging free which was the best part i felt after coming here. There was just an introduction. Seniors provides us with notes.Guide us what to do and how to do.

Exam Structure :

Their is usually a 1 or 2 day break between the exams. It is neither chilled out nor hectic situation. I am fine with it.

Faculty :

Faculty is good for Computer Science Department. They are clear with the concepts. They teach really good. All of them are passouts of highly reputed colleges and universities.

Placement Experience:

Students from the 7th semester onwards are eligible for campus placements. Core Biomedical companies like GE, Medtronics, biosense etc and IT companies like TCS, JIO, INFOSYS, CAPGEMINI etc Recruit Biomedical Engineers. Most Biomedical Students prefer Masters over placements. 80 percent of students from selected candidates get placed. I will go for Placements and I will get into post graduation after clearing GATE 2023.

Remarks:

Location is most likely a factor for me. It is closed to my home. And the another factor is that, Different colleges offer different programs with their curriculum. For example, as an Engineering student, I had a set of classes that I was required to take, with little deviation apart from electives.

Placement Experience:

I haven't experienced placements yet. but yes the deserving students get internship every year. The whole staff of this college is very nice.

I would say that there are many other good colleges in pune for mechanical engineering , as the cut off of this colldge is low so students not willing to compromise on the branch can take admission here without any second thought .
