Remarks :

Positives include best teachers,best cricket team ,good atmosphere, friendly lecturers and seniors, best NSS team best Naval NCC (training at Naval base ,Kochi), Feasible fee structure. Negatives include average faculty, lagging of kerala University,More bookish study materials.

Course Curriculum Overview :

It is one of the good colleges with best teachers. Only a minus point is that sometimes Kerala university is lagged. The first sem results will come only after 5-6 months.

Placement Experience :

Placements and job opportunities via college are less but there is. Recently there was a recruitment for B.SC computer science graduates conducted by INFOSYS but chances are less. Most of the graduates go for a post graduation and apply for a government job or become guest lecturers or permanent lecturers in colleges.

College Events :

Most celebrated event is Freshers day. Seniors will give unexpected surprises to Freshers and they consider Freshers as their brothers and sisters. We celebrate Kerala's most celebrated ONAM and x'mas together.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is feasible because it is an aided college.only 750 rupees for exam and for a management seat it will cost 20000-50000. For students whose annual income is less than one lakh exam fee shouldn't be given. Government will bear their exam expenses.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college doesn't offer a scholarship but government does. For students whose annual income is less than one lakh, exam fee will be given by government. And there are many scholarship schemes like center sector scholarship.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities include NCC (both Army wing and Navy wing),NSS(NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME), Music club, Environmental club, Mathematics club and more are there. NSS of SN college were awarded for best NSS in Alappuzha district.

Alumni/Alumna :

They are very helpful. They visit their juniors and ask whether they need any help. They constantly help in conducting celebrations and project work of students. Alumni network is very good. They even have a WhatsApp group.

Admission :

I applied for higher education using governments single window scheme and chose colleges. I got a username and password. After the first allotment , when I log into my account I found that I got admission at S N COLLEGE and I went to the College at the prescribed time with plus two certificate and other documents. Then after payment I got admission.

Faculty :

It is a huge college but facilities are less. Physics lab has lesser apparatus and in chemistry lab the chemicals and other apparatus are not adequate. During combined classes sometimes there isn't enough space for everybody.

The best institution where you can excel.

Placement Experience:

The college provides plenty of placements for the students as the college has years of experience. The highest package for placement in engineering is 36 LPA and average for architecture is 12 LPA. Almost 80 percent of students get placed every year,The rest pursue for higher studies. Students who pass out from the institution are given consideration due to its prestige.

Remarks:

Good government University with better placement opportunities, infrastructure and good educational environment. Fee Structure is feasible and the university is stands apart.

Placement and job opportunities are fairly good in my college. A lot of good companies come for placement drives every year but it mostly depends on the student themselves. Companies like cisco,MuSigma, Goldman Sachs, Ernst and Young, Larsen and Toubro and many more come every year.

We had an excellent management team who was listening to all our issues and try to find a solution for them.

Admission:

Entrance Exam. During 1991 there was an entrance examination conduction at all India level and the admission was provided on the entrance exam score. After we have been selected for this course, there will be a small interview process to understand the candidate's attitude and passion. Admissions provided based on the above factors.

A good college

Admission:

After giving the entrance examination called NEET, I apply to this college through their official website where the application form was available and got enrolled for the MBBS course. I was called upon the counselling session and got selected. This selection was purely on the basis of merit.

Placement Experience:

The jobs were organised at the end of last year, since it is a professional course the job but easy to get and we could apply at any hospital. The college?s hospital used to conduct its own interview sessions and most of the students were placed at the campus itself. Many opted to apply at AIMS, Maulana Azad. All of the students used to get placed with an average package of Rs.7 lakhs per annum.
