Biotechnology course is a new generation course which have a great emergance in health field. In our class we have 48 students, and we have two permanent staffs for our department and 5 guest staffs. The teachers are holding JRF,NET and PhDs. Due to the covid pandemic, the exams are in a hurry and rush conducted by Kerala University. But teaches helps a lot to manage our marks.

I choose this course basically because I am interested to study Indian political history rather than job-focused. The course curriculum was not the same as I expected, which includes more ancient history and Religious histories. As the faculty is a government college, which had a good student ratio. And the teaching method is not up to mark, still they are following the old theory method and which is a problem of the syllabus also. The exams were conducted every six months and it was not that difficult to pass

Faculty: We have the best teachers, and they teach us very well. They are very lovable, caring, and helpful, and they have a lot of knowledge. The teaching quality was good. The course is not curriculum-relevant. All the semester exams are difficult. 35% is the pass percentage. Placements: 50% of students got placed in this course. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, the average package is 2 LPA, and the lowest package is 1 LPA. Digital Campus Recruitment is the only recruitment in our college. 80% of students got internal hp. This course is good and easy to study. The college should improve the washroom facilities. Many events like college fest, etc., are conducted here. Most of the students got admission here, and many students are working in different media. There are no placements from our college. Many news channels hire students. This is one of the best colleges for media study at Kerala University.
I choose the course because being techy is my passion. Since my childhood, I am more interested in the field. Faculty to student ratio is very affordable. In my class, only 30 students and 6 faculties are there. So they can manage it very well. Only faculties who qualified for UGC NET are allowed to teach. Overall the teaching us very good. All the facilities are available including the lab. Now the exam pattern is semester-wise. Every 6 months, exams will be conducted. The course is moderate level. Those who are hardworking can score high marks. Also, model exams are conducted at a regular interval.
I mainly choose this course because I like to study more about malayalam language and it's history. Student ratio is good and we all can fit in one class easily. Exams are bit tough due to the corona situation
The placement is guaranteed here. From the starting of the final semester, the eminent companies are coming here for interview and group discussion. Various companies visiting here for recruitment are Titanium, KMML and FACT Ltd. Emoluments and package is well accepted by the students. Around 25 percentage of the students are getting early placements from this college. I was pursued for higher qualification to Nagpur and later on was absorbed from one of the leading petrochemical organisation after completion of the course from this college. Overall satisfaction is almost complete from this institution, since the basics are well taught here.
Faculties are very good and experienced. Its one of the best colleges under Kerala University. The college also provides research program for various course including zoology. The department also has excellent lab facilities.
Class rooms and atmosphere is very bad. Less sanitation facility. Less hygine. Unavailability of drinking water. Lack of sufficient toilets and water pipes.
