Remarks

College management is not that good. All the heads and deans are army retired people .

Entrance Preview

UPTEE(Uttar Pradesh Technical Engineering Exam). I opt for this college beacause it was one the most popular college that time by uttar pradesh technical university.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course curriculam was decided by university only and it was good. Faculty was average. Some of the faculty members was good in academics other are just fine.

Internships Opportunities

I have done my internship in HPES. it was a great experience . The stipend was not offered by the company although there was a good leaning experience.

Placement Experience

Placement in college is not up to the mark. In my time there was not enough companies came in my college. Even the mass recruiter offered placements for 40 students.

College Events

1.5

There was many culturual and technical events hosted by college every year. There are many societies involved by students who took the leads for organizing these events. i didnt see any big event in my time so cant write here.

Fee Structure And Facilities

The fees structure was decided by the university only and that was fixed for every college affiliated from that university. Hostel fees was pretty high which cant be borne by everyone.

Fees and Financial Aid

I didnt find any scholarship in my college time however it does provide the facility for Underprivillaged students and from SC/ST.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus life was awesome. there was some politics in organizing the events in college socities and disciplinary socities However they maintained a good hygenic enviorment.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel food was pathetic. Hostel rooms were average. Its first year hotel is comparatively good from other senior hostels

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is not that much strong . we have a facebook group so that we can discuss about the career opportunities and all stuff. I had the intraction with my alumni people many times.

Exam Structure

Exam structure was good. It was not that much chilled even you cant say as hactic one. It was average.

“A Good College for Learning and Growth”

Likes

Being a CSE student I get the opportunity to learn about computer science and improve my skills The college experience also helps me understand the importance of practical knowledge

Dislikes

The placement support could be improved especially by providing more opportunities for students to get internships and jobs in reputed companies

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course covers important subjects related to computer science and programming. It gives basic technical knowledge, but more practical learning is needed. Exams are held every semester, along with internal tests and practicals. Some subjects are easy, while others need more preparation. Overall, the course is good, but adding more real-world projects would help students learn better.

"The Place for Unlocking Potential"

Likes

Firstly the environment is what I liked the most when I first joined the college cause this type of greenery and atmosphere is very less found
Secondly it would be the seniors , the seniors are really helpful at times of need and are really friendly
Thirdly it would be how the education system work , there isn't an overload of assignment or projects on the student , so it's very easy to focus on our studies

Dislikes

Personally it would be a long distance for me ...cause travelling by bus consumes a lot of time and energy
The thing I disliked the most would be the people around me and their way of thinking cause I just don't like the way they converse . I don't know about a few of them but most of the people I met are really sweet and soft spoken
Lastly it would be the fee structure for me ...cause being a private institution it can offer a more affordable fee structure

Course Curriculum Overview:

The reason I chose B. Tech in data science and artificial intelligence is because nowadays we know how AI has its influence over almost every field and every company requires a candidate who is well known about AI . Particularly I opted for data science because I wanted to be a data analyst from the start cause it just fascinates me about how differently we can see and arrange data in so many ways and also the market value of being a data analyst is quite high nd not easily found

More Information About AKGEC College

I got thus college through counselling and the top AKTU Affiliated colleges I opted to were JSS, AKGEC, ABES, from which I got ECE branch in AKGEC which I locked in the first round of counselling itself as I was satisfied with the college. The students could come through counselling or Cbse 12th percentage i.e management, counselling is done on JEE scores and 12th percentage should be more than 75-80% in PCM for unreserved prolly...Read More

Inside AKGEC Life

1) I had applied for colleges like jss noida,gl bajaj , kiet , akgec through UPTAC counselling for those who gave JEE Exam. i preferred this college because after reading reviews about it ,consulting senior students. 2) I could get this college based on my rank . I could not make it to other colleges because of their high cutoff for the CSE branch. 3) admission process includes direct admission where students are admiitted based on 10th,12th score and branches are alloted based on their score, 2nd is through the uptac counselling for students who want to get admission through JEE Score. overall admission experience was good....Read More

so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
