Course Curriculum Overview

4

? Placement Chances in BCom or BA(Economics) are better than any other courses. ? More than Cirriculum its the societies that gives Exposer to meet new people express your ability work in a team etc. ? Faculty focuses on just completing the course syllabus timely rather than actually understanding whether the student has gathered previous lessons. This can be improved. ? Every 6 months there are semester exam. Its a pattern that some paper will be easy and a few will be of medium or hard difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

3

? Majorly the students who are serious for internship opt for intership outside college via LinkedIn. Depending on the type of internship they get different exposure of work. The DU offers (Vice Chancelleor Intership Scheme) for the students who have scored at least 8 CGPA. ? For a role of copyright or content writting they get knowledge Of field. They get to know how the content writter works.

Placement Experience

3

? From the 5th sem. ? Accenture, Baja, Acko, EY, Some new Startups, etc ? 8 lakh was highest and average 2-3lakh ? In my course BCom it is around 50-60% in other couses most student don't sit for placement. ? I am preparing of CS Executive exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

?15k per year ? For differeng cpurses the fee structure is different for Couses like BSc (Computer Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics) which have more practicals, their yearly fee is between 16-20 k. Additionally every student have to give a registration fee of 1.2k to 1.8k (depending on the papers) every semester. ? Student comping from EWS or ST SC category have an option to opt for schlorship. The college provide some money for books and fees. ? Any student who have topped the semester in his/her course receive an amount of 1.5k-2k as prize.

Campus Life

5

?The annual fest is named TIDE. Every society conducts its fest and events all throughout the year. ? The variety is quite good. From Indian to Foreign Authors. Old and new editions. New Magzines newspapers. ? E-library is there and any student can access it. ? Sports Facility is decent but can be improved. ? Variety of clubs like NCC, NSS, FIC, ENACTUS,etc and student can join them as they feel.

Admission

? When CUET exam weren't introduced admission in DU was based on 12th results. and as per mine I find this college suitable. ? I heard the name of college back then and this was the only one I applied for. ? Now you have to give CUET exam, later a CSAS portal will be released for counseling amd then you can select the course and college as per choice.

Faculty

5

? I think the ratio is 1:15. In genral all the faculties are good natured and can be easily approached by students. ? For my Bcom Course I liked Baljeet Kaur Mam she helped me personally when I was down in my life. ? Not any. ? there are atleast 7-8 paper in every semester except in final year that have 6 paper. The SEC and VAC paper are irrelevant they promise to give some knowledge but end up showing as another theory paper.

Night Life

3

? There is no gym. Cafeteria is good. Library is excellent. ? No hostel. ? Satya niketan is go to place for every south campus student. There are many clubs cafes and Game parlor here. Most of the student coming from outside of Delhi Stays here only.

Placement Experience:

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
