Course Curriculum Overview

Course curriculum is well design by the college. In first year it's a common for all students where we study HR, FINANCE, MARKETING & IT. while studying the course by the end of 2nd trimester every students is aware which specialization is best for them. The college Offer Dual specialization in 2nd year & the student decide by their own interests.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 185000 per year

Placement Experience

Student are eligible after 5th semester for campus placement Cafe coffee day L& T, STEELMINT, ECLERX Shree Ram finance HDFC, AXIS highest Package : 6 lakh Average package : 4.5 lakh 100% placement I have Join SHREE RAM finance as a Management Trainee package is 4.8 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

Two year complete fee is 185000 which we can give on 4 installment. At the time of seat confirmation we need to pay 20000 which is included in the fee after that four installment ( 1st installment need to pay on August & 2nd installment on November 3rd installment on August and fourth installment on November)

We used to celebrate Foundation on September We also celebrate month end Birthday of the student and faculty. Navratri celebration on the month September Diwali celebration on the month of October Simfiesta on the month of January Annual sports on the month of February Farewell on the month of april

Admission

where other college Offer the degree course which is out dated over a period of time. PGDM course are more upgraded on the basis of industrial norm. The best part of this course is upgraded his curriculum what the current industries Demand.

Faculty

The college provide highly qualified faculties which is student looked for there improvement and development. The total 6 Exam we have given in 2 Year course of PGDM. The exam is taken on TRIMESTER basis which we need to give in every 3month.

Interview Experience

Ist step is the student need to give management entrance test( CAT, MAT , ATMA etc) IInd step : student need to appear for Group discussion & written test IIIrd step : student need to appear for Personal Interview

Night Life

Nescafe cafeteria, gym, library public area closing time is 8:00pm The sport which we used to play is cricket, football, table tennis vollyball and many more we used to play after academic off. The famous hangout place is shivnath river, bharda

SIMER: A first batch student's Journey and how it became a Launchpad for my career

Placement Experience:

We were appearing for the placement process from the 4th Semester, however, our batch was being prepared for the placement process from day 1. The first placement process that I appeared for was for Shriram Transport Finance in feb 2008. A few common recruiters who came for our batch were HDFC Bank, Shriram Transport Finance, CIPLA, Naukri.com, Indiabulls Vandana Ispat etc. One of the offers that I had from HDFC bank and the CTC offered b HDFC bank was 300000. Our complete batch was having a offer , some of us had 1 offer and some of us had many , I had offer from India Bulls, Shriram transport Finance and HDFC Bank I joined HDFC bank after getting my degree.

SIMER- a journey to remember

Placement Experience:

In first year for internship program college only provide us opportunities. I got selected in three different companies for summer internship program which was paid. Then for final placement we experienced best support from placement cell. There was 25 companies for 60 students. I got selected for 5 different companies. I joined the best one.

Admission:

Our CAT interview process is IIM and I am giving you about the IIM Trichy Chennai campus. So we went there and the hospitality very good. And initially, there was one person, he verifies all the documents. And then we went to for CAT exam and were given with pen and paper. We were asked to write on paper and after waiting for a while, they were calling per person one by one. The interview happens in about 15-20 minutes. The interview was started with the basic questions, tell me about yourself? And then they briefly bring to my file, college projects and some business idea. And they asked about my hobbies and even I danced in my interview. That was the funniest part of the interview. Finally, they asked me about the current scenario and I was quite confident about all my answers. I was pretty sure that I would convert all the points.

IIM Raipur Review

Remarks:

The first thing I got attracted to this college is, among the new IIMs it really performs well in the case of placement and in terms of studies, in that way I think IIM Raipur is doing great. Being an MBA grad getting the corporation demos online that how can we get exposed to software and its features. I opted for this college over others because of the placement report of last year and also I live in Bhopal so it will be convenient to travel.

Remarks:

So, Raipur was head in terms of low fees, low educational fees, facilities wise a permanent campus. It had a good ratio of students is to faculty and even I had a few reviews so I had a few alumnis from my undergraduate college who were in Raipur and I spoke to them so they gave pretty good feedback about the college or his college and then I also had spoken to other people from other colleges from my undergraduate institutes. So I did a comparison and I meet a matric comparison, so I came to the decision and went into the Raipur.

The admission process at our college was based on the overall score obtained based on 1: Marks Scored in CT/MAT or any management entrance Test 2: GD ( I remember our topic was "Rahul Dravid: Should act as a Brand ambassador of. 3: PI. 4:+Marks scored in 10th , 12th , Graduation 5: Industry experience I appeared for MAT and got a decent percentile, and hence, I was getting a good offer from a college based in the metro cities to take admission. Initially i searched for Local Durg bhilai colleges but after getting feedback from passout students thats they are just known college in paper but when it comes to deliver the expectations of students all colleges don't satisfy, these colleges provide just theoretical knowledge which is out dated, not relevant in today's era.
