Remarks :

Positive marks I would give that Attendence is top notch criteria for our college. Those who not attending classes pay high fees for the eligibility of exams. As 75% nominal attendence is required. Negative remarks I would give about hostel food. You know right how hostel foods are sometimes. Its never ever like home.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Oh the course which I am studying on consists of eight semesters. The even semester has 8 subjects. The odd semesters have 7 subjects. There are field work in between each and every semester. Exams divided into internal and external basis. Internal exams happen once or twice in each semester consisting of full syllabus( includes practical too). External exams happens end of each semester with practical exams.

Placement Experience :

Placements and Job opportunities are vast in agriculture. They offer various jobs in government as well as non government sectors including industries also. Seed company, fertilizer company, agrotech company so on. Offers also available in government areas of banks, officers etc.yah college provides internship and gives an basic options to choose from an range of alternatives.

College Events :

The college organises national seminars with certificate courses with a very minimum fee. College organises intercultural festivals through intercollegiate events. The festivals of different cultures also celebrated with great fun. Academics remain closed but college remain open. Everything is beautifully decorated. Every comes in their respective attire and so on. Festivals happened here : . Techno Jashan . Rangrezza . Holi . Guru Jayanti . Jagrata etc

Fee Structure And Facilities :

College is not expensive the hostel charges are very minimum with four times food per day. Academics charges for my course are as follows : A . Per year fee : 53, 500 / ( Includes Medical, Library and Tuition Charges ) B. Per year hostel fee : a. Four sharing : 55, 000 and 65,000 respectively b. Three sharing : 75,000 c. Two sharing : 85,000 d. Single sharing : 9500 All hostel fee is per year calculated.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Loan facility is provided by banks and scholarship is given on quota basis to the lowe caste or minority caste through national scholarship portal. Scholarship can also be gained through many exams in academic year named as Kalpana chawla scholarship.

Campus Life :

Labs are well equipped with instruments. Each subject has their respective laboratory with technicians and teachers. Sports have their own grounds. Has separate basketball ground and also have kabaddi and volleyball grounds?

Alumni/Alumna :

Seniors are very helpful. They guide you through out the courses. They teach you how to survive the exams, how to survive hostel. They teach without taking money which boosts marks in examination. They help to manage fests and helps in laboratory.

Admission :

I got to know about the college through their online website. Applied there, filled their respective course fee and done. They call for interview, docs verification. The College offers its hostel for the fresher's because to adjust with the system of new city and the environment of the hills.

Faculty :

Most of the faculties of my college are well experienced and have done their masters or doctorate in respective specialised fields. They are well aware of their field. They have very basic practical knowledge of each subject. So its easy to communicate with them.

Is LPU that Lovely?

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to sit for placements from their final year and should have passed all the subjects. Companies visited are ITC, Adani Wilmar, dhanuka, some startups Highest package offered for the current session was 8lpa to 4 students where the average pay is 3.6 lpa Due to low pay most of the students turn down the job offer and goes on pursuing higher studies. So far, from what I have experienced is that there is cut throat competition in the placements.

Good in campus environment

Remarks:

After i entered , it was heaven seriously speaking from a small town LPU life for me is no less than a dream life. So here are some DO's and DONTs LPU :- Alwaysintain 75% attendance otherwise you won't be allowed to give your end term examination. 2. Don't get carried away with the crowd , you won't be able to come back to real life. 3. Be as simple as possible so that distractions doesn't over come your focus . 4. Join various Organisations. Here at LPU we have more that 50 Student running organisations , take initiative and be a part in any of these. 5. Weekly , there will be functions , or something or the other so that Students inside the campus are not board , so enjoy them . 6. As i have mentioned before , be choosey to select your friends world is not good my dear . 7. Yes , LPU have more than 3000 CCTVs and security guards are present within 100mt of range , so if you feel anything uncomfortable or someone is trying to disturb or something like that take there help. Security people are really very good.
