Likes

The staff is amazing.They are always ready to help.
Continuiensy in lectures are great I hv ever experienced. Teacher's are regular for their lectures.
College environment is great as their are greanery in the college

Dislikes

No Cleanliness at all. Table's are covered with dust.
Stray dogs are roaming in classes which looks very cheap.
Very hot during Summers no ventilation at sll

Course Curriculum Overview

So as I want to know about the business world so I opted for mcom in business innovation which this I am open to many more job opportunities as compare to only mcom....it is a good course but need some improvement as focus should be maintained on practical learning rather than theoretical learning.

Class Size: 40Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So. As I am SC I applied for scholarship firstly I hv paid 3000 something and waiting for my scholarship so that I cal pay the rest of the fee.. College charge examination fee as per subjects which is around..3-4k..say 500 for I subject. And my batchmates hd paid 12000 as their fee. Overall it's a good college ??

Campus Life

My overall experience is good as I am in ref ribbon and am participating in various activities like bhangra gidda which makes college life fun. I give 5 star for the co curriculum activities..it is amazing experience

Admission

My graduation is from gcg..which is also a girls college but am always want to study in SCD ..... because In gcg there are gating problem... infrastructure.. delayed procedure.... harsh behaviour... but in SCD all is good.... I am very happy to be there.

Faculty

Faculty is great but it is too less as per the students..as in our department teachers are less as compare to other departments. I hv opted mcom business Innovation. Exams are done on semester basis.. Its a 2 year course which means 4 semesters. And having 8 subjects...each is of 100 marks.

Interview Experience

No there is no such GD or written test... Addmission is done on merit basis. The college faculty release merit list for addmission procedure.anf then students who's name are under Merit list are called for the councelling in the college.

Night Life

As I am a girl I am not allowed by My parents for night outs but..on day time or evening we enjoy alot.. there are too many cafes and restaurants nearby college which are very convenient for the college students

Placement Experience:

Yes, placement are amazing for commerce students. The seminar and notices are held one day before the placement. The placement like private bank such as rbl, ici and companies like eclerx etc. these organisations provide well and good salary package for freshers

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose my course because i found it has various scope in near future. And also because i am familiar with all the subjects and we do such things in our day-to-day life. The time gap between exams is sufficient but can be imporved if exams are taken once a year only. And also calculators should also be included tlo make calculations as it saves alot of time.

. I applied CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY (CU) college and I also got confirmed seat. but I don't choose this college because of their high fees and was in other district. I choose SCD GOVT.
