Guru Nanak Khalsa College for Women was established in 1975. In the year 2000 the college got affiliation from Panjab University, Chandigarh. On April 9, 2003 Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee, Sri Amritsar took the college under its management. Thereafter, it has been excelling in every sphere-academics, sports, N.S.S, cultural and religious activities. Thereby it personifies complete growth and empowerment of the girl Students. A Creditable pass percentage in various programmes is worth praise. The College imparts quality exposure and conductive growth to students both in curricular and co-curricular activities.
The college has department of Physics, Chemistry and Biology has advanced labs. A fully networking Computer Lab is also available for students. Above all the college has extremely loyal, faithful, dedicated and hardworking staff and administration which is committed to impart quality education to students.

Yes, course curriculum and exam structure are relevant, research-driven and fair. After half syllabus test is started of all syllabus so that students can prepare there half syllabus properly. And its increase there ability to do studies and they can learn them properly. Teachers in lectures give homework daily which students can do their practice. And exams tell the students their actual position in studies.

Everything is good teachers are good but some of the teachers who are just passes mcom in the college and then tarted teaching in the same college their teaching is not so good as they have not done b ed but there are very few teachers like tht which are junior teachers they are not so good at teaching but all the senior teachers like head of the department punpreet mam they are just osmmm also ritu oriya mam if she teaches you even theiry she will give u the best all the senior teachers are the best also some of them are post graduated in our college they are best all the senior teachers.

The course that i have to choose is very good. The course that i have to choose has more practical learning. Yes. research initiatives have taken by the college. The college has well-developed labs. All the labs in the college has the latest models of computers. Labs are fully air-conditioned.
