Course Curriculum Overview

3

The curriculum is decided by the Chaudhary Charan Singh University. The college faculties really go beyond the defined college syllabus to teach you to deal with the real world. Also there are some special lectures and subjects introduced to teach the best. There are personality development and foreign language classes too.

Placement Experience

4

Placements from college is not something I can talk about as I have also just started. But I have heard of a lot of students getting their PPOs and placements in their final years. If you work hard in 5 years of college, you will make it.

Fees and Financial Aid

To be honest the fees is close to average if you compare with other law colleges which provide similar opportunities. I am paying 70k per semester as I have got a scholarship on the basis of my AILET score. They provide many other scholarships based on CLAT,AILET,12th score,EWS and some other categories. These are subject to your attendance and semester marks.

Campus Life

4

We do have amazing annual fests typically in march april. A sports event in march. Both of them are quite fun to be in. There are libraries in both campuses and study areas too which let me tell you are nice to study. Also the college has access to many free digital libraries too.

Admission

I will be very honest here. I could not get the top 7 8 NLUs. I had an option to have an average NLU by paying a really high price. I didn't feel it deserved the investment. I was getting BHU with my CUET scores but again didnot find it to be enough. Also, LLOYD is nice I guess, I think I am having fun here and working hard.

Faculty

5

I am not sure of the ratio. But the faculties are so much cooperative and will be always there for you. Be it your classroom or you need some professional suggestion from them, they will help you more tham you can expect. This is one point you can completely trust the college. The exams are in the end of semester. Between the semester there are 1 or 2 internal exams. They are not difficult, as the college makes you study alot you will pass easily.

Interview Experience

5

I had a personal interview with some of the faculties. The questions were related to law, history, political science and some personal questions about my ideas on law. The faculties try to make it not so serious.

Night Life

3

I am a dayscholar so not sure of the hostel life. But heard from friends the end time for the in campus girls hostel is 8 PM. Also, see its Greater Noida, so safety is quite not sure thing but inside the campus you are safe.

Arey our campus internships have been taken care of amazingly but placements still are little slim. Delhi is where most of the students where places with a salary of 40k on and average. Some even less as students were ready to work for 20k as well.

Since many ministers and their department keep an eye on our college more jobs are provided in government sector than the private ones. Even private law firms come and around 30% students are placed from campus every year.

Court practice states from 3rd year and hende thereby training as well. So, placements in some of the top chambers of high courts or even top Litigation legal offices like Trilegal and JSA from Delhi have helped us to interns and then get a PPO from them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I'd rate it a solid 8.5 out 10 considering the details we are taught in and out the classroom learning program and I'd suggest that there be more of moot court competitions and sessions including every student for more exposure and confidence building. The exams are half yearly and cover pretty much everything we've learned.

Placements for law school are very very low indeed and out of total 180 students not more than 20-30 even get placed. Seminars and top brass are invited to guide students how can they take their career forward but not many direct placements happen.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is well structured and is divided across 10 semesters so that the students don't get overburdened. The three year llb gets hectic. That's why i chose this course. The curriculum includes moot courts and drafting which is very helpful for further pursuits in law. The mandatory presentation in each semester builds confidence. However, I'd suggest preparing students for moot courts by focussing more on the moot court society will further sharpen the eloquence of the students. The exams are conducted twice in a semester and are moderately difficult.

Not many as placements are less and just a handful like from a batch of 180 in all, 30-40 students are placed from campus. Mostly it's the two tier law firms that comes and offer us quite less as well.
