Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is well-structured and relevant, covering key aspects that influenced my decision, such as industry-aligned subjects and practical exposure, while effectively preparing students for real-world applications and academic growth, though improvements in updated content.

Placement Experience

Our college provides very less campus placement opportunities. Only few students are getting placed. The maximum package is around 4 to 5 lakh per annum. Only 20 to 30 students are gettting campus placement with high cgpa and other skills. Other students are not getting placement oppurtunities at all.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure I am paying is 155660 per year for computer science branch which is management quota. The fee structure of SNQ quota in our college is 34000 per.Every year fee structure will increase.

Campus Life

The infrastructure in our college is very nice and attractive. People who love nature or green environment can come here.The facilities and technological provisions are also very nice. Gathavaibhava is the famous annual cultural event which our college conducts. But only less cultural events will be held compared to other colleges.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel rooms are very good and hygienic. The food provided by our hostel mess is also hygienic and have good taste for the amount we pay.There is 24*7 hot water facility.There is also attached bathroom for all the rooms

Admission

In CET exam I got seat in Yenepoya Institute of technology mangalore.But the course I got was EEE brach.I wanted CSE or AI brach.So I thought to choose tis college for cse branch. The fee structure for management quota in this college is cheap compared to other college.I also chose this college due to my less financial status

Faculty

The faculties in our college are very kind.They help us in many situations.In our college they conduct 2 internals and one assignment test for very subject to help students.If any student fails they also conduct improvement test to help them in their future.

Interview Experience

I didnt face any group discussion or interview or any other written test during the time of admission.But during the time of admission they check the mark or percentage of our previous examination.The marks must be good ar eligible to get admission.

Night Life

The gym, library and cafes are well maintained.The hostel rules are very strict and in timings of hostel is 6.30pm. The famous places to hangout outside the campus is dharmasthala temple and other temples nesrby and also have very beautiful waterfalls. There is very safe outside and can roam at night also.

4 Placement Experience:

From the 7 th semester students can get eligible for placement and internship from the any semester if you become capable. Companies like Google, microsoft, dell,capezimi comes in our college and make offers around 1000 every years. Around 80% students are getting placed in our cse department. My plan is to take placement from this college on a higher note.

My Honest Review of My College

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Out of 400 students only 150 were placed and few still didn't receive their offer letters yet. I didnt get placed so it was very hard for me to get a job. When the placements started the whole world was going on recession that had very bad impact on us.

Placement Experience:

There is college placements in here. The students studying in 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They should also not be having any backlogs. There are various companies that visit our college. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, L and T, TCS, Anventure etc. On an average around 70% to 80% students get placed who are eligible for placements. I actually plan on joining a IT company for a reasonable salary just for experience purpose. And then pursue higher studies

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Yes I got opportunity to study in other colleges also but as compared to other colleges this is the best college 1st reason is it's very big campus and clean no harrasment taking here as compared to other. 2nd. Is placement here it's quite good compared to other colleges which i got opportunity to study. 3rd . No I didn't get any rejection letter from other colleges. Life In SDMIT As a Student

See I elect this college because it is nearer to my area and SDMIT having a good name in other fields also.i also liked Puttur Vivekananda College which is excellent college in all aspects but I have to do 2 hours journey for that .I need 20 minutes to reach my college So see the difference in timing the timing also important right . I haven't applied any other colleges. I directly selected this college as my friend already suggested this. Although it has a less fee compared to other colleges that I know. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges as I haven't enquired other colleges. The eligibility criteria to get admitted is to pass in physics, chemistry, mathematics with 60 percentage and have to pass the Common Entrance Test. While getting admitted I had a great experience.
