Hostel room was Good and they clean daily
College and campus environment was really good
They provide good lecturing and support .

College campus is small compared to other engineering colleges
Hostel rules and regulations are very strict
They allow students to free in hostels but they don't

Course Curriculum Overview

I'd rate my CSE course 4.5/5. The instructor was knowledgeable, and the course materials were helpful. I liked the mix of theory and practical assignments. However, sometimes the lectures felt a bit too long. Overall, it was a great learning experience!

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 105000 per year

Placement Experience

Placements in our college now a days is quite less. But they provide good placements. As u know in IT industry competition becomes more and there are many colleges over Karnataka so it's difficult to get placed but they provide good placements

Fees and Financial Aid

First year fees was 104000, my seat was government seat through KARNATAKACET, for management students they fees more than 200000. Hostel fees was about 60000 and they provide good hygiene in hostel and hostels are quiet good

Campus Life

Campus life is bad because our principal was so strict, he doesn't organise more fests in college. Only 2 fests they organise in a year. One was Gatavaibava and another is annual day. Gatavaibava is a boring fest

Admission

I chose to attend SDM College of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) over other colleges I applied to for several reasons because of fees structure and good environment. Here faculties are also good supportive

Faculty

There are so many faculties. Each department atleast they had nearly 10 members. There are 5 departments in our college namely CSE ECE AIE EEE and CIVIL. Mechanical department was discontinued from last year due to lack of students.

Night Life

They will not allow us to enter college during night. Hostelars are also not allow in campus after 6.30 . There are very strict rules and regulations. So I don't know how was nightlife look like in college.

4 Placement Experience:

From the 7 th semester students can get eligible for placement and internship from the any semester if you become capable. Companies like Google, microsoft, dell,capezimi comes in our college and make offers around 1000 every years. Around 80% students are getting placed in our cse department. My plan is to take placement from this college on a higher note.

My Honest Review of My College

Placement Experience:

- The students become eligible for placements from the 6th sem itself. - There are lot of companies ranging from Samsung to Infosis to TCS which provide a package ranging from 4LPA to 34LPA. - Highest Package (This year): 34LPA and Lowest is 4LPA. - Students placement stats: Around 80% students get placed - My plan is to get into a good Product Based Company after my degree.

placements of pesu campus is really good thus securing us the spot of top 3 colleges in karnatake, apple and ibm also hire from pesu which is very hard to find in india colleges. highest cse package in 2025 is around 54 lakhs and average is around 12 lakhs. percentage of students getting place is comparetively low with around 60%,my plans after getting degree are to hopefully to be placed in campus placements

However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Out of 400 students only 150 were placed and few still didn't receive their offer letters yet. I didnt get placed so it was very hard for me to get a job. When the placements started the whole world was going on recession that had very bad impact on us.

Placement Experience:

There is college placements in here. The students studying in 7th semester are eligible for campus placements. They should also not be having any backlogs. There are various companies that visit our college. Some of them are Infosys, Wipro, L and T, TCS, Anventure etc. On an average around 70% to 80% students get placed who are eligible for placements. I actually plan on joining a IT company for a reasonable salary just for experience purpose. And then pursue higher studies

One of the best colleges or universities for B Tech and pocket friendly

Placement Experience:

The College was there for more than 10 years , but there was only Post graduate courses available , like M-tech , Msc , etc. The College for B-tech has started just before 2 years , there are no batches which has been output till now. The students are also waiting to see the batches to get output and see the placements taking place. As a student I am also eager about the campus placements.

Yes I got opportunity to study in other colleges also but as compared to other colleges this is the best college 1st reason is it's very big campus and clean no harrasment taking here as compared to other. 2nd. Life In SDMIT As a Student

See I elect this college because it is nearer to my area and SDMIT having a good name in other fields also.i also liked Puttur Vivekananda College which is excellent college in all aspects but I have to do 2 hours journey for that .I need 20 minutes to reach my college So see the difference in timing the timing also important right . I haven't applied any other colleges. I directly selected this college as my friend already suggested this. Although it has a less fee compared to other colleges that I know. I didn't get any rejection from other colleges as I haven't enquired other colleges.
