Course Curriculum Overview :

i am studying oil Technology in hercourt butler technical university which is a part of chemical technology of this university. course is quiet good. faculties are approachable and always ready to help in academics. infacts one of our faculty told us to contact him anytime if there is problem and doubts.

Internships Opportunities :

almost every eligible students of 3rd year get internship through the college placement cell. internship are provided from 3rd year. many companies come to hire students for different roles offered. note that it depends upon you, what you wanna take from the college.

Placement Experience :

placement of hercourt butler technical university kanpur is awesome. chemical department has 100% placement every year. almost all eligible students get placed each year. last year 120+ companies visited our college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the fee for one year of my programme is approx. 135000. so, its about 517000 for 4 years. scholarship is available for each type of candidates. general students get about 55-60k per year. up government provides scholarship.

Campus Life :

infrastructure of the college is very old approx 103 years old. its one of the oldest engineering institute of India. but campus life is amazing. you can make many friends of your trait. good to explore.

Hostel Facilities :

hostel facility is nice and appreciable. there are 10+ boys hostel and approx. 7 girls hostel in our college. boys get hostel in west campus which is 4km aprt from main campus (east campus). if you are dedicated enough for your academics and placement then congro! world is yours.

Admission :

i had applied in many colleges.but i took admission here because of its placement and alumni network. it is the oldest engineering college of India. sir hercourt butler started it in the year 1921. in chemical engineering 100% of students are placed every year also it is a government college that alsohelps

Faculty :

faculty to students ratio is good. faculties are approachable. i like dean of dsw , he is always ready for helping students no matter what the problem is. exams are easy to crack.you can pass the exams just studying before 10-15 days.

Placement Experience:

Placement of the college is decent highest package was 30 lac per annum and average is 6-7 lac per annum....From 6th semester u are eligible for the campus placements.... companies that visited are- IBM, TCS,etc I just don't remember now there are many... percent of students getting placements are near about 80% i guess

As college have separate placement cell so college guide students for the placement after 5 th semester students are eligible for the placement. Companies like Amazon ,Flipkart , Microsoft ,TCS visit our college , about 50 companies visited our college this year . 52 lakh highest and average 6 lakh package were offered to students Nearly 70 percent student get placed in the college My plan is to qualify GATE after getting degree

There is no more placement in collage some company come but the provide only 2 pla Max to max 2.5 lpa so placement is very bad in this collage if you want to placement your have to find off campus placement

The placement is very good in my college. From the 7th semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Mahindra etc do visit my college. The highest package is 16 lacs per annum and the average package is 4 lacs per annum. 95 % of students of the batch get placement every year. My plan is to get a placement in a product-based company after completing my degree.

Good institute for education, Good placement offers and also it was near to my place. Computer science because it is evergreen subject which will also have scope in industry. I have taken opinion from students who studied in JSSATEB so joined.

Placement wing take care for placements. College call various campines like infosys, tatamotors, gulf contacting, NPTEL. They offer handsome salary package. No nothing like entrepreneurship is encouraged in college. Alumni supports juniors they respond well.

Remarks:

The best part of this college is that it has an incubation centre which is governed by the DST government of India to promote new innovative ideas and mould the incubator to start there startup and became an entrepreneur.

Admission:

I always want to become a mechanical engineer because innovation and technology attracts me. This college focuses on innovation and entrepreneurship Development skill and this is the main reason to select this college. I have taken the direct admission on the basis and seniors of my marks also given positive feedback about college.

Entrance Preview:

I took entrance examination of UPTU and scored 4500 rank. I chose this college as I was getting Computer science branch in this college. Moreover many of my school time scenarios were in this college and gave fabulous feedback which at last proved to be true.
