Remarks :

I haven’t come across any negative thing about Pearl. My life at Pearl has really been a memorable affair and still cherish every moment I spend there from studies to everything . Pearl is a good choice for design students

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is fairly decent. It works on jury basis where you have to complete presentation and assignments and present them before the jury. They also have these workshops and in-house practical exams

Placement Experience :

Yes Pearl is known for its placements and internship record. They provide campus placements and internship as soon as you complete your course and infact before even you complete your last semester. The salary package offered by companies is also good

College Events :

Apart from studies Pearl is famous for its big life. There are many events happening in the college almost every other day. They have this annual cultural festival which happens in talkatora stadium every year. Also they organise Diwali fest .brand promotions happens every other week

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fee structure is a bit expensive being it a private institution but yeah if you enjoy and study well this is going to be worth every penny you spend during your graduation. Fee structure varies from course to course

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

They have this two scholarship schemes which they provide to the students. One is on the basis of financial condition of the students family and second on the basis of merit record of students. They generally provide scholarship of 25 to 50 percent of tuition fees

Campus Life :

Yes they do have recreational rooms, sports hub, a big library where student can access to many software’s and website which are not available anywhere else. Also they have this big foyer area where these events happens

Hostel Facilities :

I have not opted for hostel because they have hostel only for girls which is situated nearby the college. Infrastructure is fairly good but the amount they charge for accommodation and fooding is bit costly

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes they have this alumni connect portal which helps the old student to get in touch with what is happening in the college. This portal also provide details about new job openings and other events happening in the college

Admission :

There is an entrance exam which basically tests your aptitude and design ability and then there is a personal interview.Aptitude test is compulsory for every course but design test is only when you want to get into some design related course

Faculty :

Faculty is quite up to the mark. They have industry experience. They are more of mentor than a normal faculty. Quite supportive and helpful. Most of the faculties come directly from the industry who understand the curriculum better

Placement Experience:

The placement is good (can do better) in the college. The students become eligible for internships and getting placed in after completing the last semester. The students get placed in various well-known companies which are H&M, Clavin Klein, Pepperfry, Sabyasachi, Tommy Hilfiger etc. The highest package is 6.25 LPA and the average is package is 4 LPA approx. 40%-50% of students get placement from college. I am very grateful to this college for giving me a chance to sharpen my skills in the fashion design field, and my plans after this course are to get placed in these companies to get some real-life experience.

Entrance Preview:

I took their private entrance exam. Score was not mentioned in the result card but i did make it. Then came the GD and PII wanted to do my pg from either nift or pg. I couldn't clear nift exams and was left with pearl.

Placement Experience:

My internships and my job was all found by myself and so i do not accredit the college for that. They do not commit themselves in finding a job for their students. After having spent half a fortune in my pg this disturbed me .If you are confident enough you will find a job yourself.
