Course Curriculum Overview

4

The aspects like the formation of drugs the introduction of drugs into a human body really intrigued my choice The curriculum prepares us well regarding the diseases, the infections, the treatment and the cure of the specific The classroom should be more interactive with a digital board insured of a wall projector Exams happens every month like 2 internals and then a semester exams which are a bit difficult. But overall the structure is good

Internships Opportunities

2

No interships are opportunities are there for the companies Though the students go for hospital intership in the nearest government hospital i.e. MKCG medical college and hospital We go there for 1 month and work in different departments

Placement Experience

2

Campus placements starts from 7 th semester Companies like cipla, pulses, ajanta pharma, wipro etc visits and almost 70% of thee students are selected for the placement The highest package can reach upto 10lpa and the minimum is like 3.5 lpa I may apply for a company job after I get my degree or pursue further studies

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure consists of the tution fees, hostel fees , and other fees for the fest and other pujas conducted. Along with that extra fees are taken for registration, etc. Also the canteen frees are added The TFW quota students are thus saved from the college fees Whereas the students who want to get an admission without the exam has to give extra 75-80k as a part of management quota The fees for every batch increases yearly A total of 1.5 lpa is taken as the fees

Campus Life

2

Well the college conducts only one fest Along with annual sports Though it conducts workshops quite frequently The fest is held around the month of April every year The library has more than 14000 books all the books that are necessary for the curriculum and of various authors The classroom barely has a smart board it has a black board and the projector is played on the wall The ACs never work and the fans barely makes up for it There's only a single game room in the college but... No body ever visits there Sports is only seen around the campus during the annual sports that goes on for 4-5 days There's a college club called RIPONOVA and it carries out all the functions

Hostel Facilities

1

One single room accommodates 4 students where the room is quite small and not even comfy The hostels doesn't even have inverters to serve for continuous power cut The canteen is the worst part It's totally unhygienic and we even found cigerette in the food. But the price for it is too high The registration process for hostel is simple and you are compulsory to eat at the canteen if you reside at hostel We rented a pg near the college in khodashingi itself

Admission

I applied for kanak manjuri institute of pharmaceutical sciences and Roland institute of pharmaceutical sciences I got the approval from both But according to the history of RIPS the college gives large number of gpat qualifires and also were recommended by many of my relatives I applied to hi tech college too but due to my ojee result I wasn't approved there The admission process is quite simple The students should have qualified ojee and the college must approve them during the counciling Then you'll have to pay the fees and done The cutoff is like 30% for all the semesters Admission is quite smooth But they ask for fees like every semester and like at the start of semester

Faculty

2

The faculty student relationship is kinda good with certain faculties but some are a bit cranky to get along with and ofcourse all the faculties encourages the students to ask doubts and discuss their problems There's a lecturer in pharmacognosy whom we all liked because of his calmness and patience towards the students There are 8 semester examination in this 4 year course Each sem has 2 exams for internal marks and one practical examination The easy level will be 7/10 Like 20% students fails the semester exam The course curriculum is quite relevant

Night Life

1

Our college doesn't have any hangout spots It only has a canteen which can only be visited for lunch and dinner The hostel timing is too tight. Our classes end at 5:00 in the evening and they allow us outing untill 6:30 which is too less for a college situated outside the market I can't the the locality is completely safe and secure Outside the campus you can find some spots for handout But inside the campus even if you stand a talk you'll be scolded

Highest offer was 3.7lpa for bpharm and 5.7 for mpharm 40 to 50 % students getting placed. But university do provide full support for employability and skill development and provides internships.

Almost 95% students get placement in this college at pharma companies at places like Delhi Mumbai at minimum salary of 15000rs to 20000rs. But the minimum percentage should be 80 to 90% to get the placement. I plan to do MPHARM after the BPHARM course.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I have chosen b pharm because I love to study chemistry and drugs and it is the vast carrier that will be a secure job for future pharmacists. Nearly 600 students were studying in our college and 30 faculties were there to teach and all are well graduated with professional subjects and their teaching method is also a most brilliant one. Every 5-6 months there will be sem exams and before sem exams, there will be internals which were held every 2 months and sem exams are a little bit tough to secure good marks.
