Course Curriculum Overview

5

Applying scientific knowledge in our day to day life in understanding things better is the best part of doing bachelor's in natural science subject's. Curriculum is so well designed that it resonates to our lives rather than just seeming like a hard part of reading and memorising for a exam. Difficulty level of exam depends on how well we prepare for the exam. Since its a university level, we'll be well informed regarding the books we have to study to prepare notes and get ready, this is the best part where we get to explored to different authors thoughts on different subjects, we'll ho through it , make notes and get ready. I dont know How others felt but i enjoyed doing notes. Teachers do provide their personal notes which also adds up.

Internships Opportunities

5

Biocon, Concentrix , accenture were thr companies I heard my seniors joined with stipend ranging from 14-16k . Internships were of 40-60 days . Lab assistants intership were also good. We would get to work with PhD projects conducted by senior lecturers. I didnt join intership outside, i joined as lab assistant, got to see how PhD research were done. It was excellent.

Placement Experience

4

After 4 semesters, there'll be internships. There are more job placement possibilities for Commerce students. Science and arts students job placements depends on what goals we are heading to. Biocon, Concentrix, Accenture, Prestige groups, Appollo and many other companies conduct placement drives. Depending on students performance and companies expectations more 40% students definitely get placed. We can do internships in companies, or work as lab assistants under teachers so that we can get exposure to all job environments both corporate and scientific job sectors

Fees and Financial Aid

25,000/yr fees for my course . It may vary for others. There'll be no additional fee asked later on. No category fee or any biased action is encouraged here. Every batchmate of mine would go pay the same fee.

Campus Life

4

We would have cultural fests - language club festival ( kannada habba, Malayali onam, DJ fests, Dance fests, Christmas month, Intercooler fests) Library has huge collection from old to latest authors. Along with cyber labs. We can browse and study both in library. We'll have benches under tree to get the books outside and read. Take books home for 10 days. Extracurricular activities make campus colorful - we would have marathons held to support social concerns. Held traffic campaigns under NSS and NCC activities.

Admission

I had applied for PESIT, Jain University as well. I indeee got selected in first round based on my marks (84%) but when i had personally visited to get the applications, the ambience, classrooms felt better in St. Joseph's. PESIT had huge camplus but faculty weren't that responsive. I felt very absurd. Jain University had biased environment. Comparing teacher's and staffs interaction, environment, classrooms , i felt Joseph's was best. There's no entrance test in Joseph's if you are selected in first round based on marks. Personal interview with teachers and Father (dean) gives you clear vision on why do you have to choose St.josephs over others. Admission is simple, no extra fee or donation

Faculty

5

Very friendly teachers. Strict too. But made sure all students get respective attention and doubt clearance in between and after the class. Best teacher was jayshankar sir, HRR sir who were best in their teaching and student relationship. Regular unit tests, questionnaire, msq s are conducted.

Night Life

4

Huge cafeteria with best foods and drinks. Ambience is so good we would have lunch, study there and come back. Gym is also good but never joined but heard good words from peer groups. We have lassi shops, paratha hotels, Rolls center, dominos and other ice cream parlors which are best for students hang out

Other Applied Colleges

Jain University - [JU] | Bachelor of Science [B.Sc] (Biotechnology)

I found st.josephs more reliable and non biased than this college. Fees is also very affordable. No extra fees later on. Best classrooms, environment vibes in Joseph's.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key reasons I chose this course was its industry-oriented curriculum, especially the integration of modern technologies such as- Full Stack Development, DSA, AI/ML, Real-world capstone projects and hackathons. The curriculum does a good job in terms of bridging academics and industry demands- we work with Git, APIs, etc, then there are group projects mimic startup/team experience encouraging collaboration. DEspite the strengths of the course, it should have depth over breath on some topics, which were covered to quickly. Too many exams happen throuout the year are come very frequently, it could be changed.

The college is new so there is no placement report of the 4th year batch. but the placement report of the scaler academy has an average of 26 LPA. the internship report of the second year batch is pretty impressive with 96% students did atleast one internship with an average of 30k per month without any tech background before coming to the college.

The course curriculum at Scaler School of Technology is one of the key reasons. I chose this program. The projects and assignments are very practical and similar real start-up-like curriculum prepares a well for job roles in the top deck. Companies' concepts like DSA, oops, DBMS operating system and even an interview role built into the structure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this curriculum because of it's niche it's CS centric! nothing else! if someone like me is so much interested in CS I would say nowhere I will be finding a better curriculum! We work with industry experts! on a regular basis! they visit our collage not only that they also take our sessions! The curriculum changes like with change of tech! like last year we didn't have a particular AI and Ml in course with So much advancement in AI and ML they introduced one in our curriculum! Exams are too frequent I would say but not soo hard! i would say medium! and we have exams for max of 3 - 4 days!
