Course Curriculum Overview
B.Sc Zoology Hons. has a well maintained curriculum in my college as it follows the university for the syllabus and academic rules. The old CBCS system is not in place, now NEP curriulum structure is followed which is highly industry and acedmic relavant in today's world.
Fees and Financial Aid
Semester wise the fees is 5000 only. The university charges a sum of rupees 1000 for registration and admission fees. Bi annually there is a registration and exam fees which varies according to the course and subjects.
Campus Life
Our college has various clubs and societies which organises various activities and academic events inckuding our own department which only focuses on academic development and is mostly run by the faculty members. And other clubs and socities are mostly run by students. Sports facilties are there including a playground.
Admission
I chose this particular college due to the zoology department ranking and the availability of experienced faculties. In my college admission is solely based on merit of school marks. I applied to Kalyani Mahavidyalaya but didn't got selected due to higher merit requirements.
Faculty
Faculties of my department are very qualified and experienced. AP Das, KN Singh are well renowed faculties who really have a good grip on their speciliased subjects. Exams are conducted semester wise and there are internal exams before the semester which are conducted once a month.
Night Life
There is no nightlife in the campus as there are no such facilities and hostels. Outside the campus, the city gets busy and evenings but silent at night, so there is no nightlife available for the students.
