Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculum is outdated and bookish and does not focus on present industry knowledge which needs to be improved. The teachers too teach in the backdated pattern using books and blackboard only. Exams as I mentioned are held after 6 months and are easy to pass.
Fees and Financial Aid
Total course is about 10,500rs which excludes the admission and registration fees of 2000rs. Books are needed to be bought separately. Exam fees are also charged separately from the University. My mates pay the same fees for all. We do get a scholarship from college named Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship.
Campus Life
We have few events and fests held like farewell party for seniors and fresher's party for juniors. We don't have wide range of books in our library. Our college doesn't focus much on extracurricular activities. There are few college groups.
Admission
I chose this college as I was preparing for competitive exams and just needed a basic graduation degree. The admission process is very basic here. You just need to apply through a website called WBCAP and you can get admission through that.
Faculty
Faculty members are few but manage to teach all the subjects. The teachers are good but sometimes strict. There are 8 semesters in my course which happen after every 6 month. They are quite easy to pass if studied properly.
Night Life
Night life is not there in our college. The college is shut at 5pm after classes. We do not have gym and cafeteria in our college. There are also no famous hangout places as such near our college. Hostel timings are not known by me as I am a day scholar.
