- Curriculum: I loved the focus on intersection of Linguistics and computer science,courses were relevant and as per market standard.
- Learning facilities: the computer labs were state of the art and the library had an extensive collection of resources in different department.
- Location: The campus were located at the vibrant city with a thriving tech scene, which made it easy to find internships.
Dislikes
- social life : while I enjoyed the clubs I was involved in , I sometime felt it was hard to connect with other students at at deeper level
- Administrative issues: Ocassionally, dealing with administrative tasks (registration, financial etc..)
- Infrastructure (some areas): while the computer labs were excellent , some of the older classrooms need to be renovated, the WIFI is also sometime unrachable.
Course Curriculum Overview
Practical skills Development : The curriculum emphasized hands-on projects and assignments , which is crucial for developing critical skills in our core. Advanced topics : offer more specialized electives in advance machine learning topics to caters students with specific research interests. each semester has 2 mid semester exam and one final sem exam mid sem exam consist of 50% which later converted to total 50 % and final sem is consist of 50% alone. we will get 10% marks for attendence which is helpful in overall score
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities is less as compared to regular offer. most company are looking for full time offer. some companies are visit for internship cum full time. in my batch almost 10-20 company has visited the campus in 6th sem for internship.
Placement Experience
Placement is quite decent in my college specially for Circuital Branches approx more than 90% students placed in my batch with avg. package of more than 5 LPA company like TCS,INFOSYS and many mass recuriter visit for campus from 6th semester student can take part in placement interview and internships.
Fees and Financial Aid
1st year = 300000/- 2nd year = 270000/- 3rd year= 270000/- 4th year = 270000/- (All including hostel) scholarship are avilable for those who secured 1,2,3 rank in SAEEE(Sathyabama admission engineering emntrance exam)
Campus Life
overall hypothetical experience with campus life at sathyabama was a mix of some sort of positive and negative aspects,as its often the case with real world college experiences. Social Aspects club involvement Infrastructure
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility: we have 3 % 4 sharing rooms available which has attatched bathroom. laundry facilities available ehic is very cheap rs-1 for each cloth. Room is alloted on first come first serve basis food quality is good we have all 7 days non-veg and veg option available .
Admission
I applied some other collesges but as per ranking , placement ratio and many other aspects as well bring me to get in this college. other college I have applied to: VIT Vellore SRM Admission process : exam accepted SAEE eligibility process: 60% marks in pcm in 12th standard
Faculty
Faculty student relationship: in small classes and office hours the faculty student relationship were generally good. most proffessor were approachable and willing to help students who need assistance, however in large lecture classes, it could be difficult to get individual attention. course structure: the curriculum are well structured and covered a broad range of topics in computional linguistics. exam system: each course has typically has two midterm exam and one final sem exam. marking scheme: the marking scheme varied depends on the course
Night Life
On campus : Late night study sessions: the library which officially closed at night but opent during exam hours where student can work for their exams. cafeteria on campus usually closed at 10pm but vending machine is available for 24*7 in hostel premises.
