Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course Curriculum Review: The curriculum covers essential topics but could include more real-world applications. Exams are well-paced and difficulty varies. Some subjects need updated content for better industry relevance.

Internships Opportunities

4

Internship opportunities at my college: Our college offers internships in ISRO, DRDO, BARC, TIFR and CSIR. Students can take roles such as Computational Physics intern, Data Science intern and mathematical modelling intern, gaining hand-on experience, numerical techniques and data analysis. Tech companies like IBM Research, NVIDIA and Google research offer positions in Quantum computing and machine learning, allowing students to apply their knowledge in scientific computing in AI. These internship provides valuable industry exposure and research opportunities.

Placement Experience

4

Placements at my college: Placements at my college begins from 5th semester. Several reputed companies visit the campus, including Facebook, Google etc.. The highest package offered is around 100000 rupees, while the average package is approximately around 20000 rupees per month. The placement persentage varies each year, But typically about 50 percent of students secure jobs through placements. For those who do not get placed, the college provides guidance for higher studies and research opportunities. Personally, I plan to do higher studies.

Campus Life

4

Campus life is engaging with annual and technical festivals like Prathiba and Visages. The library offers a good range of books and journals and classrooms are well-equipped. Sports Facilities and student clubs provide opportunities for extracurricular involvement. Student-run groups enhance peer interaction and skill development. Overall, the campus experience is enriching both academically and socially.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel Facility and Accommodation review: The hostel provides basic amenities, including bed, table, chair, fain washing area etc.. Rooms are shared like 2,3,4,6,8 and 10. No single rooms are available. The hostel has a clean and decent environment. The meal quality is good, offering different foods in every days of a week. The food is not repeated in the same week. The registration process is very detailed and the affordability depends on the fee structure that is minimum 100000 rupees per year.

Admission

I applied to several colleges, but I chose this due to its strong faculty, good curriculum and better research opportunities. The admission process was starightforward, based on entrance exam scores and eligibility criteria. Compared to other colleges, this institution provided a balanced academic environment and better industry exposure.

Faculty

4

Faculty and course structure: The faculty at the university are very much approchable and knowledgeable. The student-to-faculty ratio is balanced. Courses are well structured but could include more industry-relevant topics. Exams and marking: Exams are fair with internal and semester-end assesments. The difficulty varies but consistent study helps. The marking focuses on understanding and memorization.

Interview Experience

4

I faced an interview as a part of the admission process. The interview topics included are astrophysics, thermodynamics, particle physics, mathematical physics and numerical techniques. I have been asked various questions from these topics. The interview focused on how well I understood the subjects from my undergraduate course. There was no written exam conducted. The admission process was very simple. I prepared myself for the interview using books and online resourses.

Night Life

4

Nightlife Around Campus: The campus has limited late-night activities with libraries and cafeteria closing by 9 pm. Hostel curfew varies but student hang out in nearby cafes and eateries. Popular spots like Garden area offer a relaxed environment. The locality is generally safe, though late-night movement is minimal.

Course Curriculum Overview:

One of the key reasons I chose this course was its industry-oriented curriculum, especially the integration of modern technologies such as- Full Stack Development, DSA, AI/ML, Real-world capstone projects and hackathons. The curriculum does a good job in terms of bridging academics and industry demands- we work with Git, APIs, etc, then there are group projects mimic startup/team experience encouraging collaboration. DEspite the strengths of the course, it should have depth over breath on some topics, which were covered to quickly. Too many exams happen throuout the year are come very frequently, it could be changed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this curriculum because of it's niche it's CS centric! nothing else! if someone like me is so much interested in CS I would say nowhere I will be finding a better curriculum! We work with industry experts! on a regular basis! they visit our collage not only that they also take our sessions! The curriculum changes like with change of tech! like last year we didn't have a particular AI and Ml in course with So much advancement in AI and ML they introduced one in our curriculum! Exams are too frequent I would say but not soo hard! i would say medium! and we have exams for max of 3 - 4 days!
