Likes

College has a good vibe, but it sucks sometimes, vandalism happens in the college sometimes and it is somehow too much controllable
Environment is good overall, there are good amount of tress and greenery

Dislikes

Teachers are average overall, students dont take study seriously

Course Curriculum Overview

The transport facility to college is good i would say, its just before the sirsa bus stand, Exam difficulty level is okay, if your have studied even for a month, you can easily crack the exams, so overall good

Fees and Financial Aid

For bachelor of arts, average fees ranges from 3k to 5k, apart from that, there is barely any money asked, Schlorship is there for reserved students (sc, st, obc) and obviously nothing for UR candidates

Campus Life

There are a lot of competetions or festivals that happen at regulsr intervals, you are also encouraged to participate, inter college level games also happen in the college every year. Infrastructure facility is poor i would say

Admission

Admission process of the college is very easy, you can apply for online and offline too, if you can missed the given timeline, then they extend the timeline too, and if you miss the extended timeline, then you can approach the main university

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is 1:30, which is okay i guess, the relationship between studentswnd teacher largely depend on student i would say, if you take faculty seriously, then vice versa will also happen, Exams happens two times a year, and re exam happens also, after completing your all years, you will get a mercy chance to cover your re exams.

Night Life

Library in the good is good, you wont get any issue with it. But gym condition is bad, you wont find people spending time on it seriously, because machines dont work properly, There is a small canteen in the college, where you will get basic necessities.

OPJGU: Not my first choice, but definitely the right one

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is highly relevant and comprehensive, according to me. The core courses that are mandatory for a student to take are highly relevant and necessary in order to develop the relevant skills and knowledge in that specific domain of the field. Electives on the other hand, are a student's choices and may or may not be relevant directly to the course one is studying. The university offers a wide range of electives and the electives are also taught by highly qualified professors across the 12 different schools of JGU. The end semester exams are either of 30 marks or 50 marks, depending on the course. Electives usually have a 30-mark end-of-semester exam for 1.5 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical and contextual, unless the course one has chosen is strictly application-based and demands applications of theoretical frameworks. The core exams in the first and second year are divided across 50 and 30 mark exams and are often for 3 hours. The exams are pretty easy and theoretical except for the practicum courses, which are deeply application-based. The final year has very few core courses which are for 30 marks.

finding a happy balance: peace and balance

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course curriculum was highly relavant to my academic and career interest which offers a strong balance between the theroatical concepts and real life implications. one of the key factors that influenced my decision to choose this course was that there are wide varity of subjects available to choose from which allowed to talor my learning according to my interest. But the time of exams are tough for us, but the two-month break actually gives us time to soothe the tiredness and actually make us want to come back to campus.

Placement Experience:

Placement are decent average package is in the range of 3-5 LPA . Several companies come in campus for placement opportunities including big names like CVENT, TCS , Wipro etc . The placement are not so great but they provide a decent starting packages to fresher.

Great internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

I will most probably shift to UAE after college to gain work experience as I already have family there and talking about the placements that my uni provides, it has tie ups with amazing companies all over India so I don't think it'll be difficult to find a job after.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Faculty _many teachers are very helpful. All are well qualified and knowledgeable. Some of them have good teaching qualities, but some do not. Our college is not that good at giving practical knowledge. This course curriculum is relevant but does not make student industry ready. Semester exams are not very difficult to pass but are based on our studies. The past percentage is 33% minimum.

I chose English sub because the syllabus was very helpful to me. The faculty is truly one of the best. they not only have care about Study our teachers qualifications also a very good also my teachers had friendly bond with All the students with approachable manner. All faculty members were helpful throughout my college experience and guided us. Our Department had around 12 professors and our class had around 48 students. I just loved this college i just loved all the professors all the students all the facilities about students classes i just loved it.

About my ongoing career

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its my dream course, so i took and i got in the greatest college. I was an average student at my schools, so i got to this college very easily on quota. I love the teaching methods as its a great hall with 70+ students sitting semi circle. As it is the pandemic situation, the classes are now online, there would me online classes scheduled every day. I had to have more marks in english in 12 and i had it. There were normal exams evey week, but it was tough enough.

Best university for best career

Before choosing this college I searched about Kruk Shera University, but but that university was too far from my house so I did not choose that university and apart from that I also tried to take admission in BU university in Chandigarh, but because of some board issues I didn't applied there, but when I searched about this university, I found everything was perfect and it was also near my house and there was also hostel facilities for me to stay there, so I thought this is the best university for me and and the admission process is really easy in this college. for taking admission you just need your 10th and 12th mark sheet and some basic documents like Aadhaar card and other basic details.
