About Dayanand College
Dayanand College Hisar, a premier college of North India, was established in 1950 and it is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra. It is organized by DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The college is situated on two campuses occupying a total land area of about 28 for the college campus. The College imparts instruction in different streams including Arts, Commerce and Science. It also runs P.G. course in English. - The Teaching Staff is good . Teachers come in class on time and also take strict actions against the students who came late.
- The Campus Facilities is good . Availability of drinking water and electricity is 24*7.

- The Rooms is not well managed like the paint are old and the windows are also broken
- The Benches Is also not well managed . They are broken from same places.

This College is good and my some friends was passed out from this college. And also tha college is near my home . The College services and the teaching staff gives me a way to join the college.And Also the cutoffs.

Eligibility of course is on the merit base of 12th results if we want to took admission in Graduation. The application form for admission in college is open in June-August month on the DHE website of Haryana.

There is no entrance exam in the college for ug courses, they are based on the twelfth class percantage. Application form are found in exam branch. Eligibility for b.sc medical is - 12th pass with maximum percentage with physics, chemistry, biology.

- the best thing is teacher and student bonding .Teachers are here experienced and well natured.Teachers here explain each and every topic very clearly .Teachers here behave equally with all students
- Presence of dispensary with a doctor is the best part of the campus .The dispensary opens to all

The admission process is very simple and easy .The best part is ,teachers are very helping to the students seeking admission in the college .The eligibilty of the course is 12th pass and the application forms are available on the college website during a particular period of time .Application fee is around 500 and the cut-offs are different to various courses .Open counselling is done for those who missed the apllication form dates and wanted to take admission in the college .I itself enrolled in the open counselling .There is a chance to get admission in open counselling even if ,the cut-off criteria is not fulfilled.No such reservations are present ,any student can take admission in this college .Colleges are listed based on the marks of entrance exam held by GJU university .

I joined this college by applying in government portal in the year2022 . If you want to join this college then go to govt site admission.hredu.com . Yes reservation facilities are availed in this college. No I don't want any improvement in admission process .

Every 12th class pass student is eligible for this college but minimum marks obtained in 12th class is 45 percent . Every student went to admission this college but the highest list of this college for BA is mninimun 75% and I got 78%.

- Campus life is not much interesting. It's just average.
- College does not provide any placement, internship or campus job.
Admission:
They do not conduct any type of entrance exam. Admission is on the basis of class 12 board marks. One will be eligible for a BSc Biotechnology course if one secured more than 40% marks with English as one of the main subject. Application form is filled online. College does not have seperate application form. This college along with other colleges is selected in option.

most of the university conducts entrance exams . but the entrance exams can not decide the student skills so the cut off process is more better than entrance based exams to take admission . but entrance exam is also a good process because in this process the student have chance to show his skills . thanks

Admission:
The admission process was a bit difficult students have to fill out their forms online but the admission form fees were not high which helped a lot of students who are not financially very well. and then the students have to appear in college for document verification. There were a lot of students standing in line for more than 5 hours which was very frustrating. The college provided reservation benefits to students of scheduled castes and others. The eligibility of the course was having at least 50% in 12th. The staff was not helping the students which were very bad behavior. Many male students misbehaved with teachers and students and other female staff. There is a need for improvement in the college like a proper timetable for students so that they don't have to wait in lines for hours and the staff needs to be for welcoming to students. Security won't have to be an issue. Security guards must check everyone's ID and only then they should be allowed in college.
Admission:
the eligibility for this course is you have to clear your graduation with 60% marks at least. the application form is available online you can fill for free. the admission process is very easy so there is no requirement for any improvement.
