Course Curriculum Overview

4

We have lab praticals which prepare us to do research and assessments if we want to do that after bachelors and I think it would be better if there are more psychology subjects instead of non psychology subjects and also I actually wish my university professors give us guidance for our future cause now the rules for psychology kept on changing so I somehow felt lost and need guidance. Few of my exams were very tough and some were so easy and sometimes they rush our exams like four exams in two days but sometimes they give us five exams for ten days

Internships Opportunities

4

We did summer immersion after our first summer it's mainly for social sciences and psychology people and we have to do internship after our second year, it's not stipend one as we students need to pay for that and for cse it's different there were many companies coming with internship programs.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am in psychology field and normally per year it's 160000 but I received merit scholarship so I am paying 80000 per year, 5000 extra for registration fee in my first year and every year extra 10000 were taken for any damages, for hostel based on room type the fee increase, i am paying 250000 and for boys we have up to 12 sharing I guess and for girls it's till 4 sharing and we don't have any one sharing rooms as of now in our university. For cse every year their fee is 300000 without any scholarship but the university have entrance exam so the fee might decrease based on the ranks.

Campus Life

4

We have many fests (like aloha for freshers, udgam- sports fest) and for infinitus there is an entrance fee of 1000 and overall campus was good for the people who are extroverts and we have many clubs( music, singing, dancing, e-club, photography, history, so on) where students can join as per their desires and these clubs have creidts from fourth sem.

Hostel Facilities

3

I liked my first year room more than my second year room cause the balcony view was amazing (river and clouds). So boys have till 12 sharing I guess and girls have till 4 sharing, bed , desk, chair, washroom and cupboards were provided. I am a picky eater so it is still so hard to adjust it's not that good but manageable but Sunday afternoon Dum biriyani is good. You just need to select what kind of room type you want, then bed like which side you want and pay for it. As per my opinion it's little expensive for hostel

Admission

I actually wanted to study in abroad for my bachelors but at the end decided to do masters in abroad and bachelors in India and SRM was in my state and comparing to gitam this was way better and admission process was quite simple, i came through merit base so based on my inter marks i got scholarship and my university have entrance exam and cut off changes every year and based on that the fee change

Faculty

4

I am an introvert so I am not that interactive with professor but few of my professors were partiality kind but others were friendly to all. Last sem I have total 5 descriptive exams and two objective exams, i still feel many subjects were unnecessary for us cause every sem we have some subjects that are not related to psychology so these extra subjects just affect our cgpa. Our university sometimes follow relative grading

Night Life

4

Normally many people enjoy together after classes at night, i am not included though as I am more of a quiet person. We have many hangout places in our college (beside c block, lawn area, t- fresh etc), we have library for toppers and gym for bodybuilder. We have four hostel blocks for girls and two for boys and curfew start from 9pm

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Curriculum is Good the college is supervised by Krishna University from guntur and provides us the best syllabus for our course related topics We prepared for Analytica techniques in our 1st Semester and in 2nd Smemster we learned how to culture different bacteria and 3rd we learned some Basics of Genetic engineering and in present semester we are preparing on medical biotechnology and bioinformatics and when it comes to chemistry we learned basics of chemistry like salt identification in 2nd Semester and focused on Organic Salts on 3rd Sem and present we are learning to analitically calculate Ph or composition of a component in a solution. The Faculty wont rush but explains every single topic slowly, after this sem we will have a short term internship upto 3 Months as CSP and in 6th sem we will have long term internship of 6 months The Exams are moderate and a student can score grace marks if he prepared from the beginning but the challenging thing is the TIME .In our college the majority of the semester score is depended on the MID exams but the challenging point is the exams are conducted for 5 days and 2 subjects are conducted per day,I dont know what about the other colleges but this short amount of time for every mid exam preparation makes it difficult and we attempt 100 marks paper within 2 hrs the paper contains 2 ,the 1st section contains short questions and total scores upto 40 marks and second section is 60 marks

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose B.Sc in computer science. The main moto for me to select this group is to be placed in MNC. Firstly I thought of taking BCA but in tanuku there is no college with BCA, so I choose B.Sc computer's. And coming to the Faculty some of the Faculty is good with huge knowledge. And some members are freshers in teaching field with basic knowledge, after completing the masters or PhD means they will give the job to the lecturers. And they won't test the lecturers deeply in the subject so that the freshers in teaching field don't teacher properly. Coming to examinations they conduct exams very strictly and it's autonomous college so no need to go to other colleges for writing the exam. And the invigilation is very strict and the college has a separate exam cell where they hide the papers strictly and they won't allow students to enter the examination cell.
