My beautiful college

Remarks :

you will not be given any freedom in this college, you will have to do everything what is told. be ready to be a puppet. guys are not allowed to keep beard, loosen their tie knots, fold their sleeves Even in hot summers and girls have to wear really shitty uniforms and even our teachers say that we look like janitors in this uniform. teachers just do not care about you or your feelings, if you are going to join this college, you should be ready to pay this college a lot by paying hefty fines for no reason.

Course Curriculum Overview :

it is a bit difficult when compared to what students study in other MBA college. it is autonomous college, so teachers keep burdening students with subjects. we have 10 subjects each semester. though some papers make it easy but still it is a lot of pressure. you will not get any practical exposure in this college, everything is theory.

Internships Opportunities :

yes college provides some good internships, but most of the companies only come for marketing and finance, none for HR. the most hyped up company in our college pays about 35000 stipend. rest of the companies pay ranging from nothing to 15000.

Placement Experience :

when it comes to placements, this college is better than other colleges. companies keep coming to college everyday. some of the companies are really good, some are not but still most of them are better than other colleges, but the worst part is that students doing mba from various other universities also get to sit for the same companies when they are paying only 3-5 lakhs fee whereas we are paying 7.26 lakhs,

College Events :

freshers party, management fest, farewell party, other cultural programmes, there arent a lot of events that are celebrated in the college. teachers focus only on attendance, if you attendance is less, you cannot write exams.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

fee structure is comparatively expensive because other colleges under ramaiah group are also sitting for the same companies in placement when they are paying very less fee and we are paying 7.26 lakhs fee. infrastructure is very bad. there are 240 students in each batch divided into 4 sections. 60 people sit in one small classroom, the benches are very uncomfortable to sit on. no practical knowledge, no industrial exposure.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

college emphasizes on students taking loan and paying them off on their own. they want their students to be independent in that manner and in no other manner. i dont think college provides any scholarship to anybody.

Campus Life :

club activities are conducted every wednesday. other than that there are no extra curricular activities. you can volunteer for fests, and sacrifice your attendance and money and that will be your extra curricular activity.

Hostel Facilities :

hostel is very good, you will get good food and wi-fi but sometimes it gets really boring to eat the same food when you are from north Indian states. but it is a bit expensive than other colleges. time limit is 9 pm.

Alumni/Alumna :

there is a page on the official site of college, through which you can easily interact with your seniors. senior students and alumni are very helpful. after dealing with this college and teachers, the only people who can make you feel better about your existence are your seniors.

Exam Structure :

there will 2 internals, 1 mid term and and externals each semester. if you do not perform well in mid terms, you will have to write back log for mid term by paying fine and so is the case for externals. exams are comparatively difficult, the checking is external and people are very strict about examinations.

Admission :

i wrote MAT may 2017 and had filled this college too in the form. but i never got the call from the college so i had to call them on my own. one skype round and telephonic interview was conducted for me and i got selected.

Faculty :

the faculty is very good when it comes to teaching. but all of them have their own attitude. teachers in this college treat students like trash. they should know that we are PG students, not school kids. you will be shouted on for no reason, thrown out of class, will not be given attendance, some of the teachers may even call you bloody idiot, bloody stupid. teachers will not given attendance and students will have to pay the price by paying hefty fine. because attendance is 85% to appear for the exams, not overall but in ever subject. if you attendance is not 85%, you can write the exam next semester by paying a lot of fine.

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculum from the university is transferred by the teachers in a digestive manner with all relevant example , live scenarios, case study activities and much more. The exams on average come after 3 months of a semester commencing , the difficulty towards the exam itself is moderate.

Placement Experience:

Placement Cell is very hardworking and they do provide placement support for all specializations but most of the jobs that are offered are marketing or customer support roles so it's always encouraged to look for job opportunities through other sources as well.

Placement Experience:

The placement opportunities are excellent in Indus Business Academy. Alot of good companies come to the college for the placement and almost all the student get placed in a good company. iIf the student has payed attention in the classes and the tasks assigned then getting into a company is not difficult. The students start getting placed soon after the completion of first year. Compainies like Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Colgate, Bata , GT and other good companies come to the college every year for the placements every year. The average package offered by the companies is 6.5 CGPA and it may increase this year. The student placement is 100%. I have also been selected in Deloitte for tax profile.
