  • Too strict in case of attendance if you are not in class no attendance no matter if you were participating in somethingand dress code is too rigid. Students cannot dress according to their personality they are forced to follow a specific dress code.
  • The management is not too good.Sometimes students have to suffer because of the poor management.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is upto date and it includes all the necessary courses. The curriculum was very helpful for me in cracking my interview at Deloitte the subjects that I had prepared me really well. Exams are conducted after every semester and their is a mid-term exam in the middle of each semester. The mid term is usually after 1.5 months of the sem start and end term might be after 4 months from the semester start in case of 1st and the 3rd semester. And in case of 2nd and 4th sem the exams are conducted after 2.5 months of the start of the semester. For the exams you need to study the provided PPTs thoroughly and give the exam. Everything is from the material provided but no direct questions.

Placement Experience :

Just after the 2nd semester the placements start. Companies like Deloitte,PWC,EY,KPMG,Broadride,Storeking, trivago,My Captain,Indusland Bank, HDFC bank,Factset, Genpact,Cadbury,Manipal Hospitals and many more companies come for placement. The highest package in my opinion may be around 8.4 lpa and average would be around 5 lpa. The profile offered were mostly Finance analyst, Tax Consultant and marketing. Idk the exact percentage but mostly everyone gets a placement. I would join Deloitte after I receive my offer letter.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The course fees increase by Rs50,000 every year. This won't apply to students who have already taken admission which means If MBA batch 2022-24 paid Rs-6,50,000 batch 2023-2025 would be Rs-7,00,000 . The University does not charge anything except this fees the uniform, exam fees, etc are all included in this fees. University provides merit based scholarship according to your 10th, 12th and graduation marks which will be deducted from your second year fees. You can take a loan for your MBA from whichever bank you like. There are no such permanent campus jobs but you can do stalls during events or take part in competitions to win a prize money.

Campus Life :

Invincia which was last help in May is Bengaluru's biggest fests help every year at Presidency. Other cultural programmes like Namma Bazaar, Ethnic Day,etc. Books are available in a wide range both online and offline. They have all kinds of books from novels to Harvard University journals to autobiographies to course books. Yes they have flash mobs, zumba and other specific sports team and clubs. All the clubs be it Rotaract, culinary, mental health, entrepreneurship club, ect are all run by students.

Hostel Facilities :

The infrastructure of the hostel is top notch. They provide 2 and 3 sharing rooms. The food is freshly prepared four times a day. Menu includes 2 dishes for breakfast, plane rice, flavored rice, 2 sabjis,dal,sambar/rasam,curd,rotis,fryms and a sweet for lunch, snacks is a dish like bread pakora or bhajiya or pao bhaji or samosa and tea and coffee , dinner is again rotis, 2 types of rice, 1 sabji, dal,sambar/rasam and curd. Non-veg is served during dinner there are different mess for veg and non-veg food for dinner. Hostel registration can be done easily through online or visiting the university at the time of admission. The hostel is a bit expensive but for the service it provides the price is justified. Room or pj is available outside near the University itself or in Rajankunte.

Admission :

Any graduate above 50% marks in their graduation can apply for the course. The application form can be found on the Presidency University Bengaluru official website You might get an early bird discount if you book early. There is no exam just a simple telephonic interview for admission. If you have not given any competitive exam that's okay the University will conduct it's own MCQ exam later after admission just for formality.

Faculty :

The teachers are very friendly and helpful. They are highly qualified with almost everyone having a phd and more than a decade or more of experience. Every student is assigned a mentor with whom the student can discuss their issues. There is also a class committee meeting where the students can raise their issues. Teaching is overall very good.

Interview Experience :

There was only a simple telephonic interview, for formality. They don't ask anything much. It's very simple. They will ask you to introduce yourself and questions like your hobbies and one word to describe you. You just need to sound confidence and should knks your purpose of applying for the course. They seek for clarity.

The college is known for its placement. Almost most of the students are assured placement towards the end of the MBA. Even during the summer internship, they attract good companies which ultimately hires the students after they complete their Internship. So far, the college has an excellent record when it comes to placement and job opportunities

Remarks:

It is an anciently situated college with experienced faculties. My remarks are only positive because I have inhaled postive vibes from the college until now. The college is famous since 140 years . It is one of the best college since then. The college is also situated in the heart of the city of mangaluru. It is located near the tagore park at the lightHouse hill road. The main positive remark is that the atmosphere that we get in the college. It is truly amazing.
