Student's Review On Ramaiah Institute Of Management - [RIM], Bangalore

A
4.3 /5

Remarks :

Because of its name in the list of top b schools in India. Also, the college was highly recommended by a few of my friends who have been to the same college and got good placements. Ramaiah Institute is one of the finest education body in Bangalore.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Curriculum could have been better, with more practicals, less on written assignments as they are not helping us now. Faculty was decent. Their teaching methods helped those more with experience. The industrial visits were in depth, go to see many firms manufacturing like ITC, Unibic, etc. Even if someone wanted to go to go for any industrial visit, the college would facilitate with the permissions required.

College Events :

Focus was more on studies than fests. Though college and intercollege fests took place, only those were allowed to go who had taken any participation. Campus festivals were amazing, all the b schools, including IIMs were invited and there was so much to do.

Campus Life :

A newly constructed building with world class facilities. Fully loaded with tech. Their was biometric scanning everywhere. We had to present our IDs to enter the college premises, and also for leaving. Attendance is automatically recorded through it. Fastest internet that I have ever experienced.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel room contain many things. Lots of memories.the monthly rent for my room is 4000/- it is so expensive but there is no another option for me. And also I paid electricity and water charge extra in monthly.

Placement Experience:

The placements are quite good . Placement for computer science branch is very nice. Average package all around branches is like 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. The highest package is around 27LPA. If we didn't get any placements means we need to develop more skills and attend and offline interview and get placed.

Placement Experience:

There is a mandatory internship for students during the summer break after their 1st year of MSc. BASE Placement Cell (BPC) is responsible to look after the placement and internship opportunities for the students. However, the students need to opt-in for their service or they can handle it on their own. The first batch will graduate in the year 2022 and hence there is no placement record for the same.
