Likes

As I'm students of sol first thing i like is the classes only held on Saturday and sunday which is very comfortable for me like mine who work somewhere else and want to continue their study.
Affordability of fee where we 5 days in a week to to earn money by which we can easily afford fee and on weekends we can joing classes
Syllabus is also not so tough to study like anyone can think how we can only two day and cover whole syllabus in the college there are a lots of good teachers we make thing easier.

Dislikes

The thing i want that it would be improve is Infrastructure where the class and sitting arrangements is now getting better as compared to 2 or 3 years back it is now getting better
In some semester when sol provides college for classes some times centre goes very far from my area.
Some topic should be add in syllabus which can improve our critical thinking.

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum of this course is easy and very beneficial where because of this i have a lots of options to make my career and also i have choosen one more option in hospitality and both are seperated. I never get anykind of problems to pursue 2 career just because i choose this course. The curriculum of this course has show me real worlds political as i choose political science my main subjects Exam are no so difficult according to the time of preparation we get.

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 8000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fee is very helpful for and every student who belonge to middle class families which is totally affordable. Fee structure was very simple which i payed semester vice in a year we need to pay in 6 month and we also have a option during admission time like if we need books it charge some cost but we also have the option to study online on website of sol du.

Campus Life

The library of the campus is very big were we get the verity of book in like history, geography, and science aerospace etc. In classrooms there is very good facilities for teachers we get projector board and many things which make study easy.

Admission

Sol is a open university where everyone can get admission online which is not hard and i directly apply to it and i get admission easily. I've chosen this because i want a degree with many career opportunities so i got this.

Faculty

In the college life lots of faculties behaviour with us like friends and they always try make study simple and easy to every student. There were 2 times we give exams in a year and we get a benefit like there in no any condition of fail instead of it sol is a system of back. Students got been promoted and in the next semester the can give exams.

Night Life

The night life arounds college campus is decent and environment is really good and silence where students don't get distracted by anything. And the area is also safe so the campus night life for hangout is not so fascinating but it is good

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

Placement Experience:

Placements is for 3rd year students. Many good companies visit our campus like bajaj capital, oberoi group. Highest package is around 22 lakhs. We have a lot of internship and placement opportunities come in for students.

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
