Here curriculum strategy is best .here we get a knowledge how to build your relation with other groups. NSS activity occur which is good for the personal development of the students. Examination is held in stricly manner.

Here internship start from the 6 th semester . For internship students have to apply on the portal. Which is created by the company .here project like to develop a website , making drone and to learn about industrial life.

From the 5 th semester students are going for internship. Placement scenario is good student basically crack their placement after 7 th semester. here many companies recruitment are infosys, microsoft,ibm,adani enterprises bmw groups,wipro ,tata chemical, Tata Steel etc

Campus Life

Nss group are serious in sports . Every year here occur football tournament, cricket, basketball , volleyball , badminton . Thereby are various club acording to their branch .class room are fully modified with digital board and advance class room

Admission

There is admission occur in two type by wbjee councelling and jee mains result direct admission . Yes I applied many government colleges for computer science but I didn't get so I got this college according to my jee main result.

Faculty

Their is nice relationship between the students and their respective teachers. The raio of boys and girls is 3:1 which is great.herecthe core branch are best as comparison to non technical Good placement offers here.

Night Life

Here the library name is central library which is double storey building full of book ???? shelves which is loaded with book . For study lot of space with 6 room and each room capacity approx 150 student.

Placement Experience:

The students can apply for internship via Career Development Centre in the beginning of their pre final Year. they can go for off campus intern whenever they want. Most of the goo companies would come and mostly for software finance consulting etc. The placements start in the second last semester as far as i know. The competition for placement is getting really high these days

I read in CSE(AIML) AI ML perspective and couse curriculam inluenced me to admit in college. Teachers often make real-world applications gor any pariculatr topic. I think more practical based an implement based curriculam should be added rather than more theorital subs. Most case college is form 9am -5 pm Like (9-5 job) .

NIT DURGAPUR - A Detailed Breakdown

Placement Experience:

Students generally start getting their pre-placement offers from their 3rd year after completion of their internships other students gets their placement too in their final year. Starting from Apple to Google and Microsoft too hired some of our senior but the number of the students get placed in those tech giant companies is very less but there are mass recruiters too like TCS infosys PW chaitanya education TATA steel BHARAT petroleum and many other companies the offers are made based upon the eligibility of the students and the packages are decided based on the skillset and experience of the students . Highest package was 70 LPA this year and the average packages are also pretty good based upom the companies and their offers it ranges from 15-30 LPA .Almost 80-83% students gets placed but it depends on the branch of the students and their skillsets.I want to sit for GATE exam after completion of my BTech and want to persue MTech

I choose haldia institute of technology as it offers a good balanced between affordability infrastructure reputation and academic quality espicially for btech conputer science. HIT is the oldest private engineering college in west bengal with nice nirf ranking with huge campus of 50 acres and well maintained Hostels for boys and girls Average 4-5 lakh placements TCS infosys wipro I have aimed for jadhavpur and IEM kolkata but couldn't make it due to wbjee rank just below cut off some private college were out of my budget like amity and kiit The admission process is smoot and take students through wbjee counseling then seat allotment after this documents verification then admission...Read More

HIT, Haldia Better then Government Colleges of West Bnegal

I have got some government colleges but the placements were worse in those and this college has a huge number placements you know.. for addmission in this college 80 percent are from WBJEE 10 percent from JEE mains and 10 percent from management Quota. The addmission process is quite smooth just fill addmission form they will verify then pay the semester fee and your addmission is done ? verification step is most important there during addmission. I applied to this particular college because of the low expense and it being near to my state, it takes 6 hours to get there which is why I chose to stay at hostel. Good facilities are available, you will not have problem navigating the area however be careful of your surroundings.
