Firstly I want to say that my college offers freedom which is lacking in most of the colleges now.
My college provides scholarship for students who are from backward class.
My college provides many extracurricular activities

Dislikes

That college maintenance is not good.Dogs used to roam here and tbere in the classroom
They are not giving proper notes for us to study
There is no culturals in our college for our enjoyment

Course Curriculum Overview

I am very interested in physics that's why i choose physics as my major.The fact that i liked in physics is It is so realistic. The theory part is so interesting to learn.But the actual problem is solving numericals.

Class Size: 100Course Fees: INR 1000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees I am paying for my studies is 1400. I am staying in Hostel so I need to pay a seperate amount for that.Since I belong to backward class i dont have many scholarship.But I am geting scholarship on the basis of my sslc marks

Campus Life

Our college has so many extracurricular activities like sports drawing dancing speech etc. It contains many clubs like Ncc Nss rotract club etc.And students are very much interested in these club activities.

Admission

I choose Presidency because it is a government college.I applied for four colleges and i got seat in every college. But i choose Presidency for its legacy and for its popularity. Our college admission is based ob 12th sslc marks.If we have more than 80% it is easy for us get a seat. The most important reason why i choose this college is its fee structure is very less when compared to other college

Faculty

Our physics department contains many legacy.Sir CV Raman has studied in our college.The faculty members are very friendly at the same time they are very much knowledgeable in there major.we are writing semester wise exams in our college

Night Life

Since our college is located in chennai ,we have so much place to explore.The Night life is very chilling here.We used to spend most of our time by visting local street ,which is very safe here. Tnagar one of my mkst favourite place

Degree with a dose of life

Course Curriculum Overview:

Our course covers the basic of the subjects and we have not gained advanced knowledge. Although well prepared, it was difficult to attend the entrance exam in other institution. Practicals are less than theory. So the course should give more deep knowledge about the subjects and also practical knowledge.

Placement Experience:

By 5 th semester (3rd yr) the students are eligible for placement but from 1 st year there will be placement class regarding aptitude, interview knowledge etc. currently any degree students are the placements we have like not specifically we have regarding psychology only few companies that comes for placement in ug . My plan is to do pg after degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I liked the Categories offered in the course which I will be learning for my career growth. The curriculum was execellent in preparing me for both reality and academic pursuit I would suggest Improvements in Feddback mechanism and guest lecturer & workshop essentials. Actually, you get eligible for campus placement by the end of 6th semester many companies like Amazon, Infosys, Google, TCS, HCL and many more companies visited our campus during a campus interview where many students got placed in very good companies the highest package give to a student is 150000 for a beginner and somewhat 70 percentage students got placed.

A comprehensive review of Geology Department in Presidency college Chennai

I applied only 4 colleges including presidency College, central university of Karnataka, pondicherry University during my admission procedure I enquired about other College where there is no geological field trip as good as Presidency college and this makes me to join this college and fees also very low .
