Indore Institute of Science and Technology - Review

The course is comprehensive and has helped me learn a lot of things but at the same time it seems a little outdated as well. However despite all the shortcomings I apperciate how the cource is structured.

I can't say much about the internship opportunities provided to us but I've heard that the students in 3rd year are given a No Objection Certificate only if they get a government job or an internship with stipend.

Students become eligible for placements form the 7th semester but they are offered internship opportunities in 3rd year and onwards as well. My plans after getting the degree is to pursue higher studies.

I pay Rs. 67000 yearly as well as 110000 fees for the hostel services provided to me by the college. Yes, the college provides scholarship and merit based fees structure as well and depending on the percentage scored in 12 grade as well as percentile in JEE, the fee is reduced for the student.

The library provides a wide range of books that are very helpful, clubs especially regularly hold events and activities as well as the techfest and dazzle that is hosted by the college during the month of march and september.

The hostel facilities are good, the meal quality is sub-par or poor to be honest and the registration process was seamless along with the availibility. The faculties and the hostel warden also ensure no indisciple occurs in the hostel.

I applied to this college because of how other students and alumini's talked or recommended it to me through LinkedIn. I checked out the college and was thoroughly impressed by the facilites provided to us.

THe faculty to student ratio is great, and the faculties are very supportive of us. They are experts in their respective field and they are approachable. Our college takes 2 exams through mid-semester tests.

The nightlife in our college is good enough ,the gymnasium provided to us does a decent job, the sports facilites are great and the hostel is good as well. We are provided other facilies which is very helpful. The timings for hostel is 10AM - 10PM.
