Remarks :

Unwanted and Unnecessary interferance of College Management in Government Funds is considered as one of the negative mark of our college.The ulilisation of PTA fund is not in an effective manner. Unneccessary Political Activities is another problem. Hon.High court of kerala already banned political activities inside the college. But it can't be controlled deeply.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course in SN college (under graduate course) is scheduled as 3 year degree. Each year has two semester and the the pubic main University exam is conducted at the end of each semester. Ie, total 2×3= 6 semester.

Placement Experience :

At the end of every academic year placement agencies will approach our college and recruit efficient students. About 5 students, in the last academic year, was selected by a popular finance company operating in kerala.

College Events :

The events celebrated in our college was College day, Annual day, Sports day; College Union day etc. And also University Grand Finale programmes were also conducted once in every five years. Our college contibure a Good number of Participants in every programmes.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure of our college is about rs.6000/- per semester for non science batches and rs.8000/- for science batches. An additional fee as Lumpsum is charged from Management seat holding students.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

There are a good number of scholarships was offered by our college and university. The major among them is 1. Central sector merit scolarship 2. State merit scholarship 3. Proff. Mundasseri scholarship 4. Scholarship for Disabilities 5. Scholarship for Minorities 6.Scholarship for majority (Generak category)etc.

Campus Life :

Like every other Delartments, Our college has physical education department also. It offers a good opportunity for Sport contestants. They are Sports like, Cricket, Football, Tennis, Batmentan, Golf Etc.

Alumni/Alumna :

Our college has a good office for Alumni Federation. There are helpful for every phase of study, anti Ragging cell etc. Our college offer best and pride alumni networks because the major people in kerala like ONV. KURUPP, MUKESH(ACTOR AND MLA, KOLLAM) etc was the product of our college.

Admission :

I got 96.6% mark in my Plus Two. I have applied through Kerala University Admission portal and chose my first preference as SN College, Kollam. I got Admission for Bcom there in the First allotment itself(merit list). Then took my admission there.

Faculty :

Our Commerce Department has highly qualified faculties who always focus on their students to devolop their skill and knowledge. The Head of the Department of our college is always vigilant in utilising their lecture staffs in an effective manner towards the success of every student.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I recommend everyone to study here and i take the best decision to choose this course. Better teaching experience and supportive teachers. The frequency and timing of exams is good and conducted special class during exam time to focus each subjects and improve all area of each subjects

Placements are really good.the placements are starts from the 4th sem onwards .abiut the placement of college is they would provide some more firms and we can choose the suitable firm and we can do the job there. Percentage of students to get placements is 90%.i have to pg here only.

RCSS is the right place for you!

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because of the course structure which includes B.Com integrated with professional studies such as CA/CMA/ACCA. Here, in RCSS you have to take up any of these professional courses as additional, not just the degree course and I chose ACCA. Of course, you need dedication and motivation to take the two courses and study them simultaneously within three years but it is worth it as you have a degree as well as a professional qualification within just three years and you are industry-ready. Believe I have come to know so many seniors who have cleared all the papers and passed from college with flying colors and been placed in the big 4s. Talking about faculties, all our teachers recruited here come with high qualifications some even have taken their PHDs, CAs, etc. The faculties are excellent because they provide support & give appropriate guidance to students to pursue their dreams.

Positive - Students have freedom. College management won't interfere with students' personal things. Supports in extracurricular activities. Students who need special attention will be taken care of.
