Canteen are good and food is good, and rate is cheap

The location it located is not proper town.
Market and shops are away from the college.
This college don't have its own hostel for students.

Course Curriculum Overview

The civil engineering course is very good course, you can gain knowledge about the constructional sites and knowledge about building a structure and knowledge about materials. And civil engineering my personal choice cause I think this will be a great choice for me.

Internships Opportunities

The intership opportunities are good enough. The campus provide good intership on so many different places to the nearest areas of the campus. Like NJP, gajoldpba etc. For electrical they're allowed to go on hydraulic plants

Placement Experience

The placements are good on this college and so many companies come every year to give a chance. Companies like Royal Enfield, Ceat tire, L and T, wbsedcl and so many companies. You can say the placements are good enough.

Fees and Financial Aid

Semester wise fee structure. 1000/sem. There are 6 semesters. Each semester you have to pay 1000 rs and and for admission each year you have to pay 965 rs. This is the total amount of year year and each semester.

Campus Life

Campus Life was the best. I had the best experience on this college with friends and classmates, all the departments are good the students are good and the place is also good, I like the night life here.

Admission

I think this college is the best option for me cause this college is near to my living location where I live. And this college is government college so i think this college is the best option for me .

Faculty

The members of this college are good and supportive, and you can get help of the staffs in case of any issues about your college and the course structures are good. There are 3 different courses which is Civil, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering.

Night Life

The night life is not that good but for students who live here on rent they can say the night life is good outside the college but inside the college it's not allowed us to go to the night cause there are some restrictions after 5pm

Overall a good college with best placement

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in the final year of the diploma course. Most companies like Wipro TCS visit our college. The average package is 5 lahks and 90 percent of students got placed in every branch.

By studying mechanical engineering, I can look forward to good job prospects.high salaries and varied work.my collage has nice equipped laboratories and good classroom.it has well maintained hostel for men. I love the environment of my collage.my collage give importance to both studies and other extracurriculum activities. My favourite teacher is professor sourav das.he can handle any type of students.my collage teacher teaching methods are awesome , teachers serve as instructor who deliver knowledge to their students.through lecture and direct instructions aim to measure the result through testing and assignments. 3 years full time diploma engineering courses that's 1 semester/ 6 month. It is too difficult to pass out of this branch. The syllabus of mechanical engineering is quite huge. One cannot comprehend the vastness of mechanical engineering.

Best start for a professional life

Placement Experience:

From fifth semester semester students became eligible for campus drive recruitment. And college also started campus drive. As i earlier mentioned that campus drive are not that much satisfying at all during 2012-2014. I was passed out at 2014 & in my time there's only one company came for civil engineering branch except that all are IT companies. For electronics & telecommunication and Computer science student there's lots of scope at that period. Some of them got package of 3.6 lakh per annum which may be the highest package as far as i know during my days. In an average we get 2 lakh per annum package. I just set one campus drive recruitment of Printika pvt. Ltd. which recruited almost 15 civil engineer from our branch. They offered 2 lakh per annum package to all. As a percentage of placed student from my branch is almost 20%. Overall from 2014 batch it'll be 30-50%. Unfortunately i didn't placed from that placement drive as I'm planning for higher study.

After the 5th Semester apparently companies start interviewing students. I am going through campusing right now. I have been selected by Aurora for further interviewing. Highest package is of Jindal around 17k and average package is 11k with accommodations. 85-90% students get placement. I am planning for higher study completing B.tech after getting the degree.

Crescent foundry and so many companies are visited our campus and offerd almost every students for job.the highest package is 1.80 lpa and lowest is 1.44 lpa. There re almost 60 percent students are placed and rests are getting prepare for next campusing.My plan is doing job after completing this degree.

Rajganj Government Polytechnic is the life of Fatapukur and also all over Jalpaigiri.

For the entrance examination, you have to complete JEXPO which is conducted every year in the month of May. The eligibility for taking this entrance is the 10th pass with a 30% mark. The age criteria are 16 years. The application form fee of Jexpo is 450 INR. Application is filled in the month of December of the previous year. There is also have reservation benefit.
