Remarks :

The college is best for the students belonging to middle and lower class families.One of the best college in Jharkhand for B.tech.The college fee is very low.But the college has to improve its training and placement opportunities.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The college was previously affiliated to Kolhan University where the course curriculum was not so good and was little bit late too.But now the college is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology where the course curriculum is very good.The odd semester exam takes place in December and even semester exam generally happens in May.

Placement Experience :

The placements and job opportunities is below average.Very few students get placements and also many of them do not satisfy with the package and other services provided by the companies.The college till now doesn't provide many internship opportunities to the students.Under TEQIP-III few students every year are selected for internship at IITs.

College Events :

The events celebrated in the College- 1.Navkriti- It is the annual technical fest of the college.This fest is organised every year to let the students showcase their technical knowledge through various practical activities. 2.Zephyr- It is annual cultural fest of the college where students showcase their talents in art and cultural activities

Fee Structure And Facilities :

There are three seats in the College- 1.TFW- ?10 per year 2.Free seat- ?7100 per year 3.Payment seat/Management Quota- ?80000 per year Hostel fee- ? 15000 per year for all the seats Mess fee- ?2500 per month for all seats.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes there is a scholarship scheme by govt of Jharkhand called e-kalyan for students under reserved categories.By applying for this scholarship- TFW seat-?19000 scholarship per year Free seat- ?27000 scholarship per year Payment seat-?50000 scholarship per year. Students can also apply for loan from banks.

Campus Life :

The labs of the college is equipped with all the latest modern equipments with each lab having one technical assistant.The sports facility is under development phase.Many extracurricular activities are done time to time in the college.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes I have opted for hostel.There are three hostels in the college Senior Boys Hostel(2nd ,3rd,and 4th year) Girls Hostel (all year) Junior Boys Hostel(1st year). The hostel infrastructure of all the three hostels is very good.Electricity and water supply system is also very good.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors of the college are very helpful.They are always ready to help their Juniors.As the college is only 6 years old it has seen only 2 pass out batches.,so the alumni network is still under development phase.However the college is planning to have a alumni meet soon.

Admission :

I got admission here in Chaibasa Engineering College through an entrance exam called "JCECE".I got the CML rank 1978 and through the counselling rounds I got CSE in 2016.But from this year onwards admission in the college will totally depend on JEE main marks.

Faculty :

The faculty of the college are highly qualified.There is a good teaching-learning process in the college.Under TEQIP-III ,many faculties from IITs and NITs are appointed in the college,to enhance the quality of technical education.

Good but not up to the level that college shows.

Placement Experience:

7th semester students become eligible for campus placements . There are many companies visited like accenture - 300000, cognizant- 250000, wipro- 300000, tcs- 200000 Accenture - 300000 per annum. 20 % of students getting placements in the class size of 120. My palns after getting a degree is to become a web developer, frontend.

This year's placement was almost 95%, which is quite good. The top recruiters are JSW, Vedanta, Tata Motors and many more. Most students are places in JSW with a 9.6 LPA. The highest package this year was something around 14 LPA. And average was almost 9.6 LPA.

Placement Experience:

The placement season starts during 7th semester when various companies come to camous to recruit students. Top companies such as google, amazon,microsoft, coal india, texas instumentation, ONGC etc visits the campus for recruirment. Around 60 -70 percent of the students get placed every year. The highest package from the camous was about 1cr . And the average package of the college was about 15-16 lakhs Apart from the capmus placement many students apply for off campus placement for which also tge college helps.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year one can go for placements, they are eligible. Campus placements do happen. Infosys, tcs, wipro, and many more companies visit here and hire the most skilled engineers. The percentage is obviously really good. A minimum of 80% of the students get placed in good-paying jobs.

Placement Experience:

In our college, there is a placement shell that gives more on student development to get placement. Many companies like TCS, JBM Auto, HCL, LnT, etc. I think as I come to know the highest package is 8 LPA and the average one is 4.5 LPA.
