Remarks :
The college is best for the students belonging to middle class and low class families.One of the best state college in Jharkhand.Best palce to do B.Tech with a reasonable fee if the college improves its placement and job opportunities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
From the 2018 batch onwards the college is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology previously it was affiliated to Kolhan University.So the course is completed on time.The odd semester exams generally takes place in December while the even semester exam takes place in May.
Placement Experience :
The chances of placements and job opportunities are quite below average in the college.As the college is new not many big companies come to college.Students get placements in some companies but the salary and the other things are not satisfactory.Under TEQIP-III the college is providing some internship opportunities to very few students in IITs.
College Events :
College events- 1.NAVKRITI-(Annual Technical Fest of the college organised every year to enhance the technical skills of the students. 2.ZEPHYR-(Annual Cultural Fest of the college providing students a platform to showcase their talents in cultural events)
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee of the college is very low or feasible.The Tution fee is divided into three categories- 1.TFW- ?10 per year 2.Free seat-?7100 per year 3.Payment Seat/Management Quota- ?80000 per year. 70% of the seats comes under the TFW and Free seat ,so the fee is very low and best all over the nation
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The students coming under reserved categories get the scholarship from the Govt of Jharkhand scholarship scheme "e-Kalyan".The govt provides scholarship ?26000 per year on a average to each student The students can also avail loan from banks by the approval of the college.
Campus Life :
As the college is in developing phase ,the extent of extracurricular activities is also increasing.The labs are equipped with the latest equipments having one technical assistant for each lab.The college organised cricket tournament every year to get some new talents
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. There are three hostels in the College- 1.Senior Boys Hostel(2nd ,3rd & 4th year) 2.Girls Hostel (all year) 3.Junior Boys Hostel (1st year) The Infrastructure of all the hostels is very good The electricity and water supply is also good.The mess fooding service is below average.The rooms of all the hostels are excellent.
Alumni/Alumna :
The senior students of the college are very helpful.They are ready to help their juniors anytime .The alumni network of the college is in development phase as there are only two passed batches as of now.But the college is still trying to organise a alumni meet soon.
Admission :
I got admission here in 2016 through an entrance exam called JCECE .I got 1978 CML(Common Merit List) rank in the exam.Later on through the counselling I got CSE branch in Chaibasa Engineering College.But from this year admission will be totally based on JEE Main marks.
Faculty :
The faculty of the college are highly qualified .Under TEQIP-III the students are getting services of the teachers qualified from IITs or NITs.The teaching-learning is quite good in the college but still it needs some improvement.
