Course Curriculum Overview

4

Since I love accounts so I had to do b.com hons..the subjects offered in this course is very relatable to real world these are Financial Accounting, Business law, Management and principles applications. The exams time is for 3 hours and that's enough to do it though the financial accounting is a tough subject

Placement Experience

4

From semester 5th companies starts arriving to college for the placements around 110+ companies came in, including the big and others like KPMG, WIPRO etc. highest package stood around 10-14 lakhs while avg package stands at 4-5 lakhs. The placement percentage is around 80-90%. Even I'm planning to get a placement after the completion of my course.

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees is 17850 plus examination fees 1450. So overall fees for the course would be around 58000.The fees for other categories is also the same. There is a fee concession/student aid facility is provided as a scholarship

Campus Life

4

The annual fest of Arsd college is known as TIDE which take place in the middle of March. Around 110000 books and journals are available in college library. The facilities is classrooma is quite good we have projectors in all class though we don't have ac in every class and ventilation is good. The overall sports and extracurricular activities of college is very active.

Admission

Since I only wanted to take admission in Delhi University and they were selecting on the basis of cuet score and according to my score I got this college. The eligibility criteria should be passed in 12th with avg of 50+%. The cutoffs for this course in general category was somewhere around 740+ and the admission process was easy as on the basis of cutoff you'll get a college pay the fees through their online portal and you'll admission is confirmed.

Faculty

4

The faculty is very supportive and students can easily approach to the faculty for their grievances. Since I'm a Commerce student so the commerce faculty is very good teachers are understanding. There are two semesters within a year. The marking scheme Is liberal so the passing percentage is good. The curriculum of the course is good which would be beneficial in the future

Interview Experience

5

Since the Delhi University selection criteria is on the basis of the Central Universities Entrance Test (CUET) examination. So the person getting a desired cuet score as per the cutoff of the college. So there is no interview or GD just a direct admission as per the cutoff of the college.

Night Life

4

Since the college ends at 5:30 so typically there's no night life but yes it has few special spots near college canteen which is open and near Nescafe which offers seating under the tree and in winters its quite good to sit in open and feel the sun. The timings of campus is 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and once more place is the badminton court, there too is a very nice place to just sit with your friends. And since there is rush all the time near the college and many students live there so the locality is safe to roam in night as well

Other Applied Colleges

Delhi University - [DU] | Bachelor of Commerce [B.Com] {Hons.}

Because the selection was on the basis of cuet marks

After completing 4 semester you are eligible to sit into on-campus placements i.e. after completing your second year. Companies start to arrive in final year or pre final year of you're going for 4 year degree. Big 4 companies like Deloitte, EY, KPMG, PWC and other companies like accenture, zomato, airtel can be seen in placement season. Average package is 4-5 LPA ranging from college to college and depends individual skill set and practical experience. Highest could go upto 22LPA in our college. Half of the students gets placed during the season but not all. After competition of degree students can pursue various courses like CA, CS or praper for CAT/GMAT.

Placement Experience:

The placement of my college is good if you perform well in the process of selection, as I told earlier, the placement cell is pretty active, so you would have a good number of options. I will be naming the good companies that visited my college, they were EY, Deloitte, DE SHAW, TCS, KPMG, etc. Numerous offers were made and I would say over 80% students in my batch got placed in good companies.
