I like akgec for its greenery and the infrastructure is not just the building with cement and bricks but the connection of nature(trees) nd humans
Good campus area with respect to kiet and jss
They make students disciplined by their strict curriculum

Dislikes

They don't conduct any fest in the college
Plus tipical aktu syllabus very un useful
75% attendance criteria is very harsh as they don't accept any medical

Course Curriculum Overview

Course must really be improved because in first year in one of the semester we don't have our main subject computer that's really sad. We have to put our efforts for becoming skilled and job ready.....

Internships Opportunities

They offer internship but in fourth year onwards you can join on your own before that they don't accept noc for that and they will work with you for placement not for internship very much . If you are interested then crack on your own.

Placement Experience

Well we are first year so not been in touch with very much seniors but yeah they give descent students chance for sitting in the placement and you have to maintain cgpa above 7. 80% students got placed

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fees of the college is 1,42,156 and is the same for management quota students. Everyone pays the same amount. College provides scholarship of 1000-2000 if you are topper of your respective class in sessional tests conducted every month. And for up government scholarship and various government scholarship you can apply.

Campus Life

College is very not interested in fest. If you want to have very good campus life sorry for that akgec is not meant for you then . But yeah many societies are there . They go for various competitions in IIT kanpur and bits goa and many nits

Admission

I am admitted here by aktu counselling and I put this college after jss in private aktu colleges because of the ranking of this college in various youtube aktu counselling channels. College takes admissions through uptu counselling as well as direct admissions.

Faculty

Faculties are average but I like the faculty of pps he solves many questions with us and give time to students to solve questions on their own and checks everyone by going to seats of every student. Exam strictly follows aktu syllabus and from every class 10 students fails in every exam

Night Life

Hostel timings are strict around 4:30 you should be in the hostel and specially in girls hostel every day there is attendance at 5 pm and your attendance is mandatory there if you are not on leave . Gyms and badminton courts are there in college as well as hostel .

RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More
